It was okay though I had some problems with him. I had to keep close contact with him which was not good. The roofing board had some problems and he had to come back to complete the job.

Visalia Roofing's bid was the best and yet it included more. In addition to the new roof, he suggested bringing our attic insulation up to R38 (and he included it in the bid). He is the Preferred Provider for Owens-Corning products (think Pink Panther). He also suggested a roof mounted, solar powered fan that pulled superheated air from the attic and pulled in cooler air. It works, too, and it cost nothing to run. They were on time, on schedule, and they did everything they were contracted to do and more. In addition, they didn't spill anything, break anything, scream over saws at 7 a.m., have music blasting all day, or bother me (except to ask me to move my $10k motorcycle so it wouldn't get dusty). The crew worked so very hard that you came to admire them. The lead journeyman had 35 years of roofing under his belt. He knew what needed to be done and he made sure it was done. Steve Williamson, the owner of the company was here daily to check on progress and to keep us appraised of what was going to happen. Every day they cleaned up, stacked materials, blew the concrete clean and made it so we could live our lives, park our cars, etc. Then, they were here the next day to do it again. We have a huge roof with a major 12 degree pitch and a separate garage. It was one tough job to do. One day while they were working Mr. Williamson arrived with two other gentlemen and I went out to meet them. They were representatives of Owens-Corning, one out of Fresno and the other from back east. They wanted to see their product on OUR house. They explained to me how the product was made in their labs (both the shingles and the underlayment) and he flat told me, and quot; Sir, you will never put on another roof.and quot; I highly recommend Visalia Roofing as a company that cares about the happiness of the homeowners during the work, the quality of the work, and the results of saving us money. In fact, I got a 17% reduction in my homeowners insurance when I told them the fire rating of the material (A) and the ASTM standards of the product. I am ecstatic with the work done and the finished results. After it was all done, I found but one staple on the ground. Like I said, they clean up very well. In fact, he even hauled away some other large items for me that I had no way to get rid of. Mr. Williamson and his company are so flexible, so willing to work with you and they understand what a major purchase this is and how important having a quality roof is. Out of three roofing bid requests, I received 2. Steve Williamson's (Visalia Roofing) was quick, complete and very sensitive to our needs and situation at the time. He took photos, then emailed them to me and said he would call me back to discuss them in about 30 min. I received his call in about 20 minutes. He explained the issues he saw with our roof and really helped me understand what was wrong, and why it was wrong. He followed up with me on a regular basis, and really gave me several viable options.
