BLUE FIELDS ELECTRIC

They were a good team of workers that were easy to work with. The price was fair. I dealt with the owner over the phone, but never actually met him, but I think he is a good man. We were pleased.

They brought 2 guys and they arrived at 8pm which was earlier than they were suppose to arrive and my store doesn't close until 9:30pm, so they had to wait around. The work couldn't be done until the store was closed. One man worked for a half hour and the other man watched. They charged $65 an hour and said they had to charge me for the time they waited around.

I called several electrical companies from Angie's List. Blue Fields responded the same day to give me an estimate of the cost. James, who did the work and estimate, has a very pleasant manner, knows his stuff and is easy to talk to. He asked me about access to the property, what he could and couldn't do. The Electric company wanted it repaired immediately. They submitted the estimate the next day, I accepted. The work took an entire 8 hours to finish. A new panel mast and wiring were installed. He talked to me about the work the same night. My power was off only for a short time so I just had to reset clocks. He had to deal with the City Electrical Inspector during the install and they left happy. A day later the Electric Company inspected the installation they requested only minor changes be done. Blue Fields made the changes immediately. They worked with the Electric Company to arrange for the connections the Electric Company needed to complete. They didn't harass me with billing.

James is extremely nice and easy to talk to. He was easy to get ahold of, punctual, and he patiently explained everything to me. He was friendly and he treated me like a valued customer.

James was incredibly enthusiastic about this project and extremely helpful in helping us to plan out the necessary details, as well as being very flexible as issues arose. His attention to detail is fantastic, and it is clear that he worked as carefully as he would have if he were doing this project for himself. He is very accessible by phone and was on-time for all appointments. When the project got pushed back (due to no fault of his), he was very understanding and cooperative about rescheduling. We will definitely make use of him again and happily recommend him to others.

James Fields is prompt, professional, easy to communicate with, extremely capable and knowledgeable. I would hire him again in a second.
