As stated above. They worked with another contractor who was treating surfaces for mold and removing drywall to replace the molded surfaces. They were punctual with their work and I have no complaints. Would use them again.
Description of Work: They did an excellent job. They worked injunction with another contractor to repair some mold damage from our floor in the dining room. You would not even know anything had been repaired - replaced floor a reset the carpet.

My wife and I purchased a second home in South Lake Tahoe and I contacted two drywall contractors to get an estimate on some remodel work we had planned. We wanted to replace fake wood paneling in two rooms and re-texture a few walls that were not matching with the rest of the house. I contacted Steve Day and he provided great follow-through from day one. Steve came out and we did a walk-through and provided a timely estimate. His crew came out and were great guys, paying close attention to detail and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. The only hiccup was that the crew did not install an access door in the new drywall installed in the garage for a crawlspace - so Steve came out himself to make sure it was done to our satisfaction. After the work was complete we encountered a mold issue in the house and I called Steve up again to come out and repair the removed drywall and inspection holes that were drilled all over the house. He did a great job. I think it says a lot when a contractor from the North Shore of the lake is more responsive than contractors that live right down the street (literally) in South Lake Tahoe. Steve's follow-through was great and I would highly recommend his services to residents in the Tahoe-Truckee area.

Steve and his team have done a great job. In addition, they were one of very few drywall companies who seemed willing to work directly with a homeowner during very busy construction times, several years ago. They've consistently done a good job, on schedule, and did exactly what we asked.
Description of Work: We've hired Summit Drywall several times over the last five years. Our cabin originally had rough exterior redwood siding on the interior and we have, over the years, replaced the siding with sheetrock.
