+ -1 moreI contacted (4) companies for staining quotes of my 2-year old home, though only (3) companies responded. The home is a 1500sqft single story, with decks front and back. Since it sits on a hill, most of the home is essentially 2-story, for staining purposes as siding covers the large crawl space area. The quotes ranged from $3000 to $3500, with Kelly Brothers being the highest. Kelly Brothers was highly recommended and responded first. For a relatively small job, I was impressed by the owner's accessibility and time he took with me about the process as I am new to the whole Tahoe staining thing. I chose Kelly Brothers for several reasons, despite the higher cost: 1. Highly recommended by my builder 2. Provided a 3-year warranty; others provided no warranty 3. Good rapport with the owner, felt like they would actually show up to do my and quot;smalland quot; job. 4. Follow-on work... they committed to do update the exposed decks yearly as needed for a very reasonable fee (a nuisance job I couldn't get anyone to show up to do last year) Kelly Brothers completed the job with the utmost professionalism and quality. I was very impressed by the thoughtfulness of the team's prep work and the attention to quality and clean up. From my experience thus far, I would choose Kelly Brothers again... even at their extra cost.

Description of Work: We got an estimate from Kelly Brothers for exterior painting. It was the highest estimate we received out of the 5 we got, and based on reviews of the paint product they use, it was not the highest quality paint, so we did not hire them to do the job.
