 + -1 morePrompt, friendly, efficient, good price. The only problem is he might not be available for some emergencies, since it seems you have to make appointments two or three days ahead of time.
Description of Work: Replaced flapper in a toilet and unclogged a drain in the bathroom sink.

 + -1 moreExcellent. "Louie"(Tom) called in advance to see if it was okay to arrive early. He had all of the parts that were needed to do the work in inventory on his truck, even though we hadn't told him ahead of time that we wanted different valve handles. He cleaned all of the sink area before installing the faucet, which I probably should have done. The price he charged for the work done was very reasonable.
Description of Work: I needed washing machine valves and valve handles replaced and a kitchen faucet replaced.

Description of Work: Tom repaired our clogged sink today. It took him about 20 min. He was 1 hr. early for the appointment; and when he finished he didn't bill us for work done. It's really refreshing that good service still exists.

 + -1 moreHe looked into several different sink types for me. He found a type and called saying that he could install that week. I had just had surgery and asked if he could hold off a week or two. He waited patiently and installed the sink when it was convenient for me.

 + -1 moreI called and left my number. My call was returned and a date set. He came over, I showed him the problem and he worked on it until it was completed and worked perfectly.
Description of Work: I had him repair a bathroom fixture that had been installed incorrectly and toilet seat that was loose. It required much more extensive work because it was an older bathroom and the sink and fixtures did not fit and he had to use his expertise to get it to fit the existing sink. He is very fair, competent, punctual, and the best I have found.

 + -1 moreHis name is Tom but he bought Louie The Plumber. It was a good price for the work he did. The only thing is that he is not the one who will come out and do a drain for anybody in the middle of the night, he is not that type of a plumber but for a major fixes or for normal plumbing issues, he is good. He installed a shower nozzle, the price was good and he did a good job. One time he was here to fix a special kind of shower for handicap people and he couldn't figure it out, he was here two or three hours but he finally got it fixed and he charged me only $25. I told him that he was not going to make any money that way and he told me that it was not my fault, that he was learning while he was doing it and it was not up to me to pay for his education. So he charged me for the first half hour. He was very good. He doesn't come right out though.

They were booked and not able to come for about a week A couple days later they called and said they had an openting in the schedule and could they come earler. He arrived when he said, completed the work within an hour and charged a reasonable amount (based on the other estimates I had received.)
Description of Work: They replaced the main water valve for my home. The handle had broken and we were unable to turn off the valve. It was not an emergency but if one of the faucets in the house had a leaky valve, I would have had to call the city to turn off the water at the curb.

 + -1 moreThe service repairman Tom evulated the problem and then went to purchase parts needed as he did not have them on his truck. He then returned and completed the job. What I liked is that he explained and showed me what he was doing answering any questions that I had. He was not chatty but informative on what he was doing. Very pleasant and professional. I will use his services again if needed.
Description of Work: Replaced leaky valves in the shower/tub unit of both bathrooms.

 + -1 moreStart to finish, we got a kitchen sink new drain at a fair price with quality workmanship.
Description of Work: Our experience was great. Louie has retired, so you are actually going to deal with "Tom" and he was great, he replaced our kitchen sink drain for a fair price, and we have no more leaking. It is great to know there is a local plumber we can call for future plumbing work, and he did a great job at a fair price. He also took the time to show me where the water shut off valve was, and the gas shut off too (we just bought this house). He removed a old culligan water softener, and the water lines to our fridge (that does not have ice maker, the previous owners just left plumbing hoses going to nowhere laying all over the place). I was afraid to start disconnecting plumbing things and have water start spraying from here to Timbucktoo, and Tom was very patient with my questions, and removing all the crazy hoses running to nowhere for me. WIll defintely use him again!
