DELL'S HEATING & AIR COND

I called a few other HVAC guys. It was real hot. They were busy. I called Dells after 5:00. I told him to fix the A/C. He had his guys out there in 10 minutes. They figured it out and fixed it right away. Miserable renters then became happy renters. Happy renters = happy owner! Thanks Dell!

The experience was very positive. I was able to get some rebates because of when I did the work. I would use them again.

The AC unit on my rental was running but only cooling 3 degrees at most. I suspected the compressor was failing on this 10 plus year unit. I had used Dell before and he was very professional and prompt. Both times he showed up that day and diagnosed the problem. This instance he determined the compressor was done. Since the cost of replacing the compressor was over 1/2 of what it would cost for a new unit, and the fact the unit was over 10 years old he correctly instructed me that the unit needed to be completely replaced. Of course the unit fails in a heat wave of 100+ degrees. My tenants have a 1 year old and I can't let them overheat. I put them up in a local hotel and Dell got the AC unit in a day earlier than expected. The house is 1500 sq ft and thus would require a 3 to 3.5 ton AC. A Rheem costs about $1300 wholesale. Having looked up AC replacement costs $2000 was right. Some could pay less, many have paid much more. Dell did it quickly, before his contracted timeframe, came the day of the call and did a quality job. I will use him again on my home and rentals. Of note, another friend had also used him and came away with the same impression as I did independently.
