Wardour Heating

Called Monday at 10am hoping to get repaired that day, they showed up at 2pm and had finished by 3:30. Had to clean out water drain for condensation. Tech was prompt and did a great job and checked out ac unit as well. My family has used Wardour HVAC for 20 years always professional.

Outstanding - got my old furnace up and running beautifully! It took some careful work to figure out which parts were not working but Jesus was thorough. These guys don't give up and persist til everything is working just the way it should.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We moved to a new home this year and had to completely redo our Heating system and needed to install A/C for the entire house. It was a massive and complex project due to the age and layout of our home. Joel Wardour was recommended by a family friend. We received many estimates and ideas of what to do but Joel's ideas and estimates were by far the most comprehensive and reasonable. Joel was honest, precise, and very knowledgeable about all of the systems available and what would truly work best for our home. Once the work got started, both Joel and Jesus Rivera were in frequent contact with me and explained the process. The crew got my opinion every step of the way on where to put vents, mini-splits, thermostats, etc. We had two separate ducted systems installed along with 3 mini-splits. It was a complex project that Joel and his team completed with precision. I was so pleased that everyday after the crew of workers left, things were cleaned up. They were very respectful of our home, always covering furniture with plastic and laying paper on the floors. They were also sweet to my two little boys and dog who were curious about what they were doing. Thank you to all the hard-working individuals including Kenny, Jesus, Alex, Mario, Diego, and Ricardo! We were in a bad situation due to a previous contractor installing the incorrect system and not getting city approval. Wardour was the only contractor willing to step in a help fix things. Joel took his time to research and find the perfect unit for our home and also ensured we meet all city planning/permit requirements. If you are looking for any HVAC work in the greater Southbay Wardour is the hands down the best.

I have four air conditioner roof units. This is my second encounter with Wardour A/C and I hope they will continue to be there when I need them again. For the first one, I had five on-site estimates and finally went with Wardour because of price and a great recommendation from a neighbor who also has 3 units, and had known Wardour for years. I'm so glad that, for once, I listened! This time, it was a no-brainer. In the middle of the biggest heat wave of the year, they diagnosed and fixed the problem just ONE DAY after my telephone call for a very good price. Go elsewhere at your own risk.

Joel was great. Easy to work with. Responsive. Collaborative. His team was exceptional. Jesus, Ken, Diego and Rich were fantastic. The entire process took a week with work being done both inside and outside the house. My wife and I both work from home so disruption was a concern. There was none. The team was courteous and professional. I wish every contractor who worked on our home was like Joel and his team.

Very Well. Had a difficult access problem. Small attic space and limited access to where existing furnace and ac coil were located. Thought for sure the ceiling opening would have to be expanded to remove and install new units which would have required additional repair work. They worked it out in an expeditious manner and much pain staking effort to keep the current access point intact without complaint or capitulation. Could not believe the effort that took but they stayed the course with determination and left the ceiling access space unaltered. New equipment went in fine and new units are high quality. Could not be more impressed. Prices were absolutely fair for the amount of labor and the excellent quality of the work and equipment installed. They were replacing the entire system that Wardour installed when the house was built 25 years ago and that served me well until now so my expectations were high to begin with and they were met in spades. Highly recommend.

Joel sent out Jesus, who was very polite, knowledgable and effective. He communicated with me the day prior to my appointment, and arrived right on time. He evaluated my system and explained how the problem had been caused by a previous repair that had been done two years before by another company. He did the evaluation on the first day, didn't ask for a single dollar, ordered the part that was required, came back and made the repair. He tested the system, which now runs so much quieter and more efficiently. Again, on the day of the repair, he asked for no money. The billing was handled smoothly via email, and a link for making the payment. The whole experience was painless and quick. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Joel, owner is an expert, with many years' experience. He is polite, easy to talk to and understand, and doesn't mind answering questions. His crew are punctual and efficient. There was no mess. He explained the air quality and energy efficiency aspects, and pulled city permit. The atmosphere of my home is changed totally for the better because of this.

We were very pleased with the job done by Wardour Heating. The entire job was explained to us in detail before the work began. All construction activities were coordinated, including the work done by Wardour and by asbestos abatement, obtaining inspections and permits, and environmental compliance. We were given space heaters on loan during the time that our heating system was inoperable. The entire job took 3 working days and 6 calendar days. Scheduling was coordinated to accommodate our needs. The work was performed in a professional manner by well trained, experienced crew members. Clean up was done as needed and daily at the conclusion of each work day.

I interviewed several contractors but Joel Wardour provided me with the best understanding of what the job would entail and how they would go about it. He also suggested a furnace that I believe better suited my needs that other contractors did not mention. Everything was done on schedule and the members of the crew worked together well and efficiently with a commitment to doing the job right. We were very pleased with the way Joel Wardour and his team handled our project. When Wardour’s lead man, Jesus, came out to look at her old air conditioning unit, he did not come across as a sales person trying to push a new product on me. Quite the contrary, he explained our options calmly and clearly, and left the final decision up to us. When we decided we wanted to replace our old A/C unit, Joel Wardour came out to look at our situation, inside and out of the house, and made recommendations. When Joel made his recommendations for a replacement system, I liked the way he explained the different options we had and, like Jesus, left the final decision up to us. I felt Joel was looking after my best interest when he made his recommendations. I also felt that he wanted to make sure the job is done right. I appreciate the attention to detail that Joel and his team took on our project. I also liked that they were careful with our home. They were careful as they moved equipment and tools in and out of our house and yard. In addition, unlike many work crews, the Wardour team did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves each day. I can’t say enough good things about how the project went. Joel, the owner, went beyond the call of duty to assist my father in understanding the system he was recommending, making sure it met with his approval, and sizing it so that it would give my parents a primary area of their home that could be cooled when the weather is hot, without their having to spend more than necessary to create a perfect system. To have a service provider that understands the needs of the elderly was such a blessing. His installment crew were also excellent. My father is a pretty exacting evaluator of professionalism and performance. That he is really happy with the results speaks volumes. I highly recommend this company. I am an architect myself, and have worked with many many subcontractors in all the various aspects of home building and remodeling, and I can say without hesitation that this company is in the very top tier of performance, and of meeting or exceeding expectations. They get my wholehearted endorsement.

He explained and answered all our questions and laid out for us all possibilities of the A/C systems; what need to be done, how to be done to achieve the best results.
