I got various quotes from painting/texturing companies but in the end just decided to go with MANN CONSTRUCTION My reason is this: a lot of quotes I rec'd from the other contractors were comparable to MANN CONSTRUCTION. I was nervous though b/c a lot of the contractors only offered one type of texture--the orange peel kind--which I'm not a fan of, not to mention it wouldn't match my walls! MANN CONSTRUCTION had a better selection of texture styles. Also, I looked at our neighbor's ceiling who went with 2 different contracts for the asbestos removal/texture& painting. It didn't look very professional. The other contractor's quotes also stiplulated they really "couldn't give me a quote on the painting, since asbestos removal really damages the ceiling!" MANN CONSTRUCTION just gave us a flat fee that covered ALL asbestos damage AND would throw in touching up where the wall meets the ceiling.
Description of Work: We had asbestos on our ceiling and we used an abatement company to remove the popcorn first The finished work was very well done, with great attention to detail. Mann Construction did a fantastic job matching the new texture against the existing. They also did a good job cleaning up after the work was complete. The painters were GREAT...very clean, professional & I couldn't be more happy with the quality of work they provided.
