They were pretty good. I had two different tubs that needed stoppers. They could fix one and they told me what I needed to do with the other. They were telling me that it was just the style of the tub and if I wanted to do some additional work what it would cost. So they were good. It was $49 or $69, it was real reasonable.

No call back to set up an estimate.

I looked on Angie's List for a plumber to fix my lack of water to the house. (The shutoff valve didn't work after I turned it off and back on for a fixture repair.) I found Lucas Plumbing, read the reviews, and decided they would be one of three that I called. It was Saturday evening, around 7:30 PM. Since it was after hours and they had an emergency line, I called the emergency number. I left a detailed message of the problem along with my name and phone number twice. I NEVER received a return call. My plumbing issue was fixed by someone else. I called Lucas Plumbing the following Tuesday (2 1/2 days later) because I wanted to write a review of this. When someone answered, I told him my issue very nicely and told him I was writing a review and wanted to know why I never got a return call. He said that they were probably flooded with calls. I told him that it is now 2 days later and I NEVER received a call. He asked what he could help me with. I reiterated that I wanted to write a review and I wanted to know why my emergency call was never returned. He again told me that "they were probably busy", and he was getting decidedly short with me. He said to have a nice day, and I responded in kind.

As usual, the Lucas guys showed up on time, did the job and billed us. We have had them do other repairs and installed a toilet and been perfectly happy each time. We will have them install a couple more toilets later this summer.

The repairman was able to locate and repair the leak quickly. Wall repairs would have been at additional cost, I declined this service as I can do this myself.

This was the third visit to our home by Lucas in the last couple of months. First visit was to repair a pinhole leak in a copper pipe under the house; second visit was to clear a slow draining bathroom drain and to replace the old plumbing under the sink. Third visit to clear out a kitchen drain. All issues were taken care of quickly. The servicemen always arrived at the estimated time (usually on the earlier side of the window given) We first learned of Lucas Plumbing in 2012 when we received a referral from another plumber; we needed copper repiping done at my father-in-law's home across town. Lucas did a fine job there, too.

Went well, simple easy job.

They came out right away and were able to solve the problem that no one else seem to solve.They're very professional, all the stuff you'd want to come into your house. They really just seem to have the knowledge in what they're doing.

We had a main line that was blocked, and we had to call on the weekend. They were able to come quickly, within a hour of calling, and solved our problem in about a hour. They were quick and courteous. We will use them again.

It was good. They came out that day and they were on time. They worked with me on solutions. The pricing overall was really fair. He probably spent 6 hours at the house because it was a mess. The price was very fair for the value I received. The people knew their work. They were good guys. I would absolutely use them again.

They arrive on time, the quality is good & their prices are reasonable. They also work on weekends. We have recommended them to family & friends.

Lucas - he doesn't do anything for appliances. He seemed a little off in the head. He did the walkthrough but just did a quick look and wrote stuff down. I was suppose to get the quote yesterday. I haven't seen one yet. As of 6/10/11 no estimate. Doesn't really seem to want our business.

I didn’t spend anything personally for that. They are good. They took care of the problem. They were responsive. They just know what they are doing. I haven’t had extensive experience with them but they fixed the water heater problem for me. One thing that they did do which I really liked was on the water heater problem which was a year ago; the water heater was not working. They noted that parts of the water heater were under warranty and so they credited us with the parts that weren’t under warranty and took care of that issue. We didn’t have to run the stuff down, they did it for us. I thought that was pretty nice. It would have taken me a lot longer to do that. They charged me a couple of hundred bucks for that. They could have just let it go and bought the parts. I would use their services again in the future.

They were fast and professional. Both times they cut small holes and fixed the leak with very little jackhammering. They were apologetic about running late. And made a special third trip out to fix the low pressure issue.
