Real bad!! First I went to Geek Squad on Thursday the 4th of August, talked to one of the Samsunf geek squad guy about the issue with the crease on the screen of my Z-Fold 3. He looked at my phone and said that my phone look ed good and had no damaged. Then said that they ordered all the parts to replace screens on Z-fold phonesand that they should be there within a couple days. So I made an appointment for Monday the 8th at 2:40pm. He said it would take an hour or 2. I show up on Monday at 2:40 pm for my appointment, I'm asked to sit down and that a Samsung Geek Squad person will be with me soon. I waited about 15min when there were no other customer being helped!!!!! Then, finally, the same guy I made the appointment with shows up. He first goes and check if they have all the parts to replace the screen on my phone. He comes back and says yes we have all the parts. He takes my phone to the back and comes back about 10 min later and asked me if I had any issues with my battery. I answered no. It charges fine, it lasts me the whole day and I charge it overnight. He says, I just did a diagnosis and the battery part failed and also there is damages on the phone so the warranty is voided. So I told him that there is no damage, this phone was never dropped and the only thing is the paint is fadded at 2 corners and around the lenses. He said it looks like you threw your phone on the floor and slide it accross the room!! Like anyone would threw an $1800 phone on the floor and slide it accross the room!! I asked him to touch the places where the paint faded and see if he could feel any dent, rough nicks or scratches!!!! It is all smooth, you cannot feel anything no difference from the faded (silver part) to the black prat when you rub your finger from one to the other. Plus, if i would of slide it acrross the room, dont u think that the lenses would be scratched!!! I told him that this was only wear and would not affect the battery which I did not even have any issue with and never mentionned any issue. If I did have an issue with the warranty, I would of mention it too!! He said it was samsung rules and there was nothing he could do. He went back in the back to get my phone and gave it back to me. Since he gave me my phone back, i charged my phone last night like I do every night when going to sleep and this morning my phone was only charged at 54%. I left it charging and can get more than 68% charge !!!!! We will see tomorrow morning if i get my 100% charge again. What did he do with my phone while they had it in the back for about 25 min??? Of course, replacing a screen under warranty probably does not pay much! But uf there is a problem with the barrery and imaginary damages to void the warranty, I'm sure that would be a good ticket!! Looking through my phone today, I found out that I could run a diagnosis of my phone by myself, and the battery status shows passed not failed! Dont get scam people! Remember that they are running a business and they are not there to be helpful!!

Last year (2012) my daughter & son purchased about $4000.00 in Entertainment system & this yearr (2013) I purchase $1000.00. Both times we were seviced by Yvonne. We are sold on Best Buy in West Covina.

Didn't you think those Geek Squad cars were some great entrepreneurial enterprise? Oh no. I have never complained about any service person before but I would never have these guys in my home again. The first time I used my Fisher-Paykel dishdrawer, there was water all over the floor. I traced it back to the drain hose which had 2 tiny holes in it. There was a huge boondoogle to get it repaired. My sales person had me call the manufacturer who then circled me back to the sales store's service department, who forwarded me to that box store that had bought them out. I was shocked when Geek Squad pulled up to my door because no one ever told me that was going to happen. From the first moment, this guy was a complete and total loser. No tools, too huge to get under the counter in the first place. This went on for 3 weeks. He had no idea what he was doing. I finally just called my plumber and he repaired it the following day. Done. Geek Squad is the worst, worst, worst.
Description of Work: My brand new Fisher-Paykel dishdrawer had 2 holes in the drain hose. YIKES! See the story of how a completely incompetent Geek Squad guy ended up at my house and completely failed.

Biji Balakrishnan arrived on time as scheduled and performed the tests on my computer to determine the reason for it being so slow. Geek Squad has a software that was run on my system to discover any problems. Biji was able to identify that a Trojan was residing in my computer. He had to reschedule to return to do the rest of the process. We rescheduled for a week later. After a week, two hours before his scheduled appointment, he canceled and wanted to reschedule. I asked that someone else come buy so I don't have to wait any longer. I called back Best Buy/Geek Squad and they had another person scheduled to come buy but he wanted to charge me over $400 more for doing the job. So I decided to cancel and not use the Geek Squad again. I will use a local mom and pop in the future. The computer history/tracking system that Best Buys uses to catalog their service is unbelievable. I can't tell you how many times I was put on hold for 15-20 minutes at a time. Never again.
Description of Work: Biji ran a software scanning program that reviews your entire computer system and documents any viruses, spam, etc., on your computer. It also tells how your existing firewall, anti-spam/anti-virus software is working.

The Torrance facility after purchase service is terrible. Lost appointments, no shows and no call backs if a message is left.
Description of Work: The installation was initially excellent, but it required several scheduled trips to correctly hook up all the various components. I elected to purchase an expensive universal remote that could operate the components through closed cabinets. A major mistake. The remote required programming on a computer by the installation team. After a few weeks, the programming started to degrade, so I called for help. The Torrance facility scheduled the appointment, but never showed up. I rescheduled, and called them that morning. They had "lost" the appointment. I rescheduled, but they never called or showed up. Their after purchase service is terrible.

Excellent work. Employees were polite and respectful. The work was done for a small fee and the employees were thorough. The employees did not talk down to me as I do not know about computers, they were helpful and tried to explain the problem and solution to me.
Description of Work: Diagnostic on PCU. Re-installation of motherboard. I did not know what was wrong with the PC and the employees were able to figure out the issue within one hour.

I WAS TOLD TO CONTACT 800-237-8289 -THAT WAS ON MAY 11, 2005(I BOUGHT MY LAPTOP ON DECEMBER 2004. I CALLED THE 800# RIGHT AWAY, I WAS TOLD IT WILL TAKE 2-4 WEEKS FOR ME TO GET THE NEW BATTERY; JUNE CAME AND NO BATTERY; I WAS PROMISED IT WILL BE SHIPPED ON JULY 13. AUGUST 4 STILL NO BATTERY; I WAS PROMISED IT WILL BE SHIPPED ON SEPTEMBER 5 AND I SHOULD GET IN 1-2 WEEKS TIME. SEPT 28 STILL NO BATTERY. I CALLED ON SEPT. 28; NOW I WAS TOLD IT WAS SHIPPED AND SOMEONE SIGNED FOR IT, BUT TO WRONG ADDRESS THIS TIME; THEY WILL PUT A TRACER AND WILL SHIP ANOTHER ONE. I FINALLY RECEIVED ON SEPTEMBER 30. IT TOOK ME A GOOD FIVE MONTHS TO WAIT FOR MY BATTERY. IS THIS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FLOOR SERVICE/HELP PROVIDED. I WAS SENT TO FORAGE FOR HELP FROM ANYONE ELSE AVAILABLE ON THE FLOOR. IT WASN'T AS IF THEY WERE ALL PROVIDING SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS. WE PURCHASED OUR DRYER FROM BEST BUY AND AFTER 4 MONTHS IT WAS ALREADY IN NEED OF REPAIR. THE TECHNICIANS CAME AND TRIED TO REPAIR IT BUT SAID THEY HAD NEVER BEEN TRAINED TO REPAIR THAT PARTICULAR DRYER, IT WAS TOO NEW.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE REPAIR SERVICE AND THE LACK OF EXPERIENCE THE TECHNICIANS HAD. THEY ALL STATED THAT THEY HAD NEVER RECEIVED TRAINING ON THAT PARTICULAR DRYER.
Description of Work: WE HAD A NEW MAYTAG DRYER, THE ONE WITH THE DRYING CABINET ON TOP. IT WAS MAKING A VERY LOUD NOISE WHEN THE DRYER BARREL WAS SPINNING. THEY CAME OUT HERE 4 TIMES AND WERE NEVER ABLE TO REPAIR IT AND IT WAS CONSIDERED A LEMON.
