FRANK'S PLUMBING

Description of Work: Frank's Plumbing was recommended to me by my contractor -- before I even joined Angie's List. I typically have to call to have my daughters' bathtub drain "snaked" about every 6-9 months and usually call around for the first plumber who can get to my house quickly. Well, when the roman tub in my master bath also needed to be "snaked", 2 plumbing companies came in and neither could figure out how to snake the drain because the roman tub stopped did not pull out. One went so far as to tell me that he'd have to remove the entire drain unit (and destroy the custom tile surrounding it in the process). I ended up calling the contractor who installed the tile for a recommendation and he referred me to Frank's Plumbing. They came out and had no problems at all snaking the drain without doing damage to the expensive tile work. So that sold me. I've been calling them ever since. The plumbers that they send out are always timely, very professional, and get the job done quickly. Granted, my jobs were "easy" to experienced plumbers, but given how they treated my small jobs, I wouldn't hesitate to call them for a larger job.

Description of Work: We bought a new refrigerator and needed to install the ice maker connection. The do-it-yourself approach resulted in a leak under the dishwasher and a leak under the sink. We had been more than satisfied with Frank's Plumbing on two previous occasions and called him to repair the two leaks and to replace old fittings under the ktichen sink.

Description of Work: I called Frank to inspect a plumbing issue.

Description of Work: We used Frank 's Plumbing on a friend's recommendation a few years ago to clear a clean out in the garage and also install a new clean out outside of the house . We were very pleased with Frank's service. This time the upstairs shower drain backed up and we were unable to clear it with a 20 ft. auger. We also wanted the clean out Frank installed cleaned preventatively as well as the one for the kitchen sink and also a check of the crawl space under the house for a dampness issue. I called Frank's voicemail and left a message as instructed, asking for a return call between certain hours. Burt, Frank's assistant who does the clean outs, called and left me a message telling me when he estimated he could arrive on the same day and he called me again to confirm his arrival. He cleared out the shower drain. He checked out the clean out that Frank had installed and said that there was no reason to clean it out when there was not a problem in evidence. He said it would cost $125 if I wanted it done but it wasn't necessary so I decided not to do it. Next he ran maintenance on the kitchen sink clean out in the backyard and installed a new cap. Before he opened the crawl space, Burt layed down a drop cloth which I appreciated. He checked under the house for possible leaks and found nothing noticeable but did find a large raccoon. He chased the raccoon out of the ventilation grate that it had torn off and helped me block up the hole until a new one could be put on. Discovering the raccoon and getting him out was a bonus.

Description of Work: Frank was called because my guest bath toilet was backing up. In the process of correcting this he would have to reseat the toilet on the sewer line. Bert, his man, worked for a considerable length of time, but i was not in the room watching him. He had not found a solution to the backing up, but had reseated the toilet. Frank never called me about this but just submitted the bill. The toilet was unusable and in the same condition he found it.

Description of Work: Responded quickly, fairly. Was able to perform with budget in mind. All the other plumbers took a great deal of time and it wasn't necessary.

Description of Work: Installed water heater and toilet. I purchased a Toto Drake toilet which works great and a Rheem water heater delivered from Rebach's. Frank provided install. Toilet easy but water heater very tight squeeze with updated model in a closet.

Description of Work: I called them for an estimate for repair work.

Description of Work: Replaced two pressure regulators (indoor and outdoor) and replaced multi-turn valves with 1/4 turn valves.
