+ -1 moreI guess I have this backwards and since I have already written the story from start to finish, I am not going to do it again. All the information is above.
Description of Work: I went to Angie's List to find someone who could work on our Carrier heating unit which was not working. I called Ely and Sons because their rating was so high. We got a call the next day saying somebody would be out to look at our furnace. The man who came spend a lot of time under our house trying to figure out what the problem was. After nearly an entire day he told us that the control panel was broken and we would need a new one. He asked for the money to buy the panel and told us it would cost $500. I gave him the check and he said he would try to return the same day, but it could be the nest day. He then haned me his card which said MTC Sales and Service. He was from Buena Park. We were very surprised because we had never called this person and had no idea why he had come to our home. We called Ely and Sons and were told that Ely had injured himself and was unable to do the work so he sent this person. We were not told this beforehand. The man from MTC, Mark Connolly, returned to our home the following day and installed the control panel. He said the system was still not working properly although the furnace was working. He said was going to talk to someone at Carrier so he could find out why there was a reading that said there was a blockage somewhere in the system which he could not find. At this time, I also told him we wanted the original sales receipt for the control panel so we would have it for the warranty. He left and we haven't heard from him since. We have called him at MTC and we have called Ely and Sons and nobody has returned our calls.

+ -1 moreOn time for appointment, removed the old heater, even hauled it off. Moved gas line, installed air ducts, put in heater unit all was done in a professional manner, very clean while installing. No mess after they left. All was excellent service from the time they came until they left. Very nice.
Description of Work: New forced air heating installed, removed 50 year old heater, even disposed of the old heater, work was done in a timely manner, nothing to clean up. Very professional. fast and efficient.
