+ 0 moreStopped by to see the house in order to give a good estimate. I liked that. Took a little while to schedule the actual work but ultimately we agreed on a very convenient Sunday appointment. Two guys showed up on time and worked professionally, cleaning up very well when they were done.. Looks good, its nice that visitors no longer see cracked tile and the second shower is once again available to the family.
Description of Work: Replaced a dozen tiles in shower that were previously removed due to some plumbing work. Also replaced about a dozen cracked floor tiles in house entryway.

+ -1 more. The work was very neat and clean, I highly recommend Mr Irvin, he works methodically, precisely, with creativity and he is a very nice person.
Description of Work: Mr Irvin removed a bathtub , reset the support around it, removed tiles that were in the way and put the bathtub back in so it would not move. He then retiled around the bathtub.It looks great.

Description of Work: Marcus was recommended by a friend. Of the 3 contractors I consulted on this shower floor tile repair job, Marcus was by far the most responsive. His price was competitive. He helped me find the best materials (marble tile) for the job. The job took three days, a few hours each day. For the critical part of the tile job - namely cutting and laying the tile itself - he took his time, and seemed completely calm and in control, seemingly Whistling while he work. :-)

+ -1 moreIt when very well. Marcus told us that his main experience was in repair jobs such as this. We were quite concerned that additional tile would be damaged in performing the repair. This was a concern because this tile is no longer manufactured and we only had a small amount left over from the initial job. Marcus was very careful and replaced the damaged tile in a very professional manner for the amount quoted and in the time projected.
Description of Work: When our 30 year old bathroom sink was removed, some of the surrounding tile was damaged. Marcus removed the damaged tile pieces and replaced them.

+ -1 moreWe did not use him, but he was quite professional. He was excellent. He seemed like he would be an excellent contractor. However, my mother-in-law chose somebody else for no reason at all. He was on time.

+ 0 moreVery responsive and friendly. Came over on a Sunday to give us an estimate. He did the job for us in a hurry too. We also asked him about some other projects and he provided free advice, including reasons why not to do certain things which other contractors did not offer to tell us. I would definitely hire Marcus again.
Description of Work: Marcus re-grouted the tile floors in two of our bathrooms. We had white ceramic tile with ugly dark gray grout. We weren't prepared to re-tile the floors and staining the grout would likely not have worked. Marcus dug out the grout, put in new white grout and sealed it, and now we have beautiful white tile floors. He also put in new grout in some other areas around our bathtub.
