+ 0 moreI have used Class Act Painting for several years now to paint both inside and outside of my rental house in San Pedro. Dennis, the owner, is always very responsive to my needs, makes excellent recommendations and his crew has been with him for years. Their prep work is thorough and clean up afterwards is very good. Although they have painted this house twice before, this time I did get another quote, just out of interest. Class Act gave me a very good price and beat the other quote. I would highly recommend Class Act.
Description of Work: Prep walls, woodwork and cabinets, paint throughout 3 bedroom, one bathroom house.

+ -1 moreThis is the second time that I've used this company. The last time was 10 years ago. I was very impressed with the quality of the work. I have never found a missed spot or an overspray or drip. The crew is very thorough and professional and have been with the company for quite some time. They did small things that were not included in the contract but added to the overall completeness of the job. For instance, a wooden hand rail, not called out in the contract, was done anyway because (I guess) it would have looked odd NOT painted while the door and wall nearby was. Areas under the shingles were painted with the trim color even though you would have had to crouch down to see them. The doors were painted with an unusual level of skill that created an almost factory-like finish. At first the price might seem high, but the house is not easy to paint and the quality and thoroughness warrants the price. I would most definately recommend Class Act.
Description of Work: Job consisted of the following on a 2700 sq ft home - Painting the eves - Wood trim - 3 exterior doors They power sprayed the entire house. The old paint was power sprayed to remove loose paint and the stucko sides were power sprayed to get rid of mildew. Exposed wood was sanded and feathered. Holes and gaps were filled, calked and then primed. Two coats of Dunn-Edwards brand paint was used, with a third coat on south and eastern exposed sides. The unused paint was left for me to do touchup over the years.

+ 0 moreOverall, they showed up on time to perform the job. They cleaned up the site each day. The quality of the work was disappointing although they responded and immediately corrected when needed to be corrected.
Description of Work: Seal drywall; sand, caulk, putty as needed; prime new wood; paint great room, living room, hallway, and laundry room.
