They sent me three very professional men. They fixed it before they put it in place. They re-screwed things and repaired things. Besides being reasonably priced, they were just so professional. They were earlier than they said they were going to be there.

An evaluator was sent out to my home. He made suggestions about wrapping unusual items and evaluated the cost. He seemed to know a lot about moving. They gave me a good "not to exceed" price. The movers were prompt, fast, and careful. The move took more time than planned because of the elevators and ramp in the new building. However, they did not charge me about the price they gave me. They were good guys to work with. I highly recommend them.

Jerry, Ruben and Anton arrived a little early and got right to work. They were fast, efficient and very careful movers. They took care of packing all the little items that I hadn't had a chance to put in boxes and made the move very easy. They had to carry a lot of heavy items to the second floor of the new home and did so without any damage to the furniture or the walls. I was planning on taking the pictures over myself, but they wrapped them up and safely transported them saving me a lot of time. They had great suggestions and were very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company.

Chris himself called to confirm the appointment and gave me updates on time of arrival of his crew. The guys were SO helpful and accommodating; they were professional, fast and careful - just what I needed. I would recommend Chris' Moving Men in a heartbeat.

Chris' provided three movers who were quick, professional and came right on time and fully prepared with everything we could possibly need including extra boxes and wardrobe boxes provided at no additional cost. Overall, both moves were finished in about 10 hours including loading the truck in West Hollywood, unloading it in West LA and moving another apartment from a neighboring building into the new unit. Considering the sheer amount of stuff that was moved, and the fact that the new unit was a second floor unit in a building with no elevator, they did everything amazingly fast. They were exceedingly careful with our possessions and the only casualty was a kind of crap lamp that may have been broken to start off with. All the valuables were very carefully packed, wrapped and transported with a great degree of care and professionalism. It ended up being about as expensive (if halved, for the two apartments) as my previous move but the quality of the service was WORLDS better than the other service (Starving Students). I will definitely be using Chris' Moving Men when I move again.

It was easy to get an appointment over the phone. Two men arrived a little earlier than scheduled, which was good for me. They were very nice and professional. It was a pleasant experience.

From the first contact, these guys were incredibly professional, quick, courteous and a joy to be around. We had three guys help us pack the day before the move and six guys on the move day itself. They arrived at 9:30, loaded up and out of the old house by 12:30, 30 minute drive to our new house where they unloaded and were gone by 4:45. Excellent all round and thoroughly recommend them!

Chris' Moving company gave me a good estimate, and were available for local jobs on the day and time I needed. They arrived on time, and were very professional and efficient. I would recommend them highly.

I picked a stormy day in California to move. Chris's Moving Men blanketed and shrink wrapped each of my furniture pieces so nothing got wet. They were efficient and kind to all my belongings. They placed the furniture where I wanted it in the new house and reassembled all the difficult pieces. A great pleasure to spend the day with Chris' Moving Men - Kiki, Eric and Ando. I would recommend them highly.

Ron and Lenny are great! They showed up a few minutes early and were very friendly and helpful. They did not try to overcharge. I would definitely use them again.

They showed up early, which I liked. They appeared to be working pretty steadily and they were pleasant. Their price was competitive. They did a good job and the truck was fine. A couple of things got nicked and they definitely seemed to get a little slower at the end. I booked it at the last minute. They acted in a professional way. I would use them again.

Two men arrived 30 minutes early, which was great and moved the lot into the truck in 30 minutes. We moved from San Pedro to Huntington Beach, about a 45 minute drive. They did a great job. They were very helpful, professional and made the whole move stress free. I thought the price was very reasonable and I highly recommend their services.

Three guys came and moved not only all of the furniture and boxes from my house, but they also moved several pieces of furniture from my upstairs to down stairs. They worked extremely fast and are very good about wrapping up all of the items to with plastic and blankets to prevent any damage. Did I say how fast they work? After moving 15 boxes, an 8 chair dining set, a buffet, 3 piece living room set, a 5 piece bedroom set and a full size bed and oriental rug. They also moved an entertainment stand, a 32" TV, exercise equipment and a a king size bed from up stairs to down stairs. They did all of this in under 2 hours!! They then drove to the new house where they unloaded it and put everything exactly where I wanted it. They then moved on to my husband's house where they had to pack and move even more stuff. The stairs in the new house are very steep, enclosed and narrow. They way they hauled a washer and dryer up the stairs was unbelievable. ...this was in addition to a very heavy bedrooms set, TV, and massage chair. Just watching them carry these incredibly heavy items up those stairs tired me out! Again, they didn't stop and chit chat, or rest when they must have been exhausted. They did NOT waste time. I highly recommend them - ask for Hans. He'll take care of you and your belongings!!

We packed everything and if you do the same be sure to pack a well-balanced box with enough stuffing to cushion your items inside. Movers were definately "on the move" and there isn't time to baby a box with an arrow pointing up or a "delicate" inscription. That is fair play if you pack your own stuff. We had a crew of four and they were happy upon arrival to see that every box had a destination room marked on it. The driver seemed in a rush compared to the other three. Upon arrival at the new house there was a tough stair case that forced the men have to hold many items up high to be able to get up to the house. They worked efficiently and were perfect gentlemen. In particular Ron was incredibly gracious and quiet but moved as fast as can be. He was instrumental in making the move a success. When a large and heavy sofa would not fit through a narrow door he tried every combination possible and finally got the right angle. That made all the difference in the world. I thought they did a great job. I will use them in the future.

My fiance and I recently moved into a 3-story split-level town house. We moved everything ourselves except our rather large refrigerator. Even with an appliance dolly we were unable to lug it up all of the stairs that we had. So we decided to hire movers. The unit already had a refrigerator in it, so we wanted them to move the current refrigerator down to the garage and our refrigerator from the garage to the kitchen. They said they charged $79 per hour for two movers. Since we weren't actually moving from one location to another, they said they had to charge us for the drive time it took them to get from their place to ours and back, which was only 3 or 4 miles, plus the time they were at our place. To minimize costs, we decided to have them there for only an hour or however long it took them to switch out the refrigerators, whichever was greater. If they finished the refrigerators in under an hour we were going to have them move other large pieces of furniture that were in our garage that we could have moved ourselves, but were too lazy. While I was waiting for them to arrive, I thought I'd go ahead and turn off the water valve behind the refrigerator in the kitchen. In the process, it broke off. (It was old.) Now I had no idea how they were going to switch refrigerators since I couldn't turn the water off. They were very helpful in trying locate a shut off valve for our unit, which we never found. They were also very conscious of our time budget and said it would take them a while to switch the refrigerators due to the water situation. We decided to postpone the refrigerator move to a later date. Instead they moved 3 big pieces of furniture in about 20 minutes. When it came time for the bill, I was concerned about two things: 1) that they might over charge me for their drive time since I had no accurate way of knowing how long it actually took them; and 2) that they'd charge me extra for having 3 movers instead of 2. For all of the refrigerator hassle, moving of furniture, and drive time, they only charged us $115. That's about 1 hour of moving time (we got an extra moving guy for free) and about 30 minutes of drive time, which is about right. They were very courteous and made sure to protect our walls and floors while they were moving things. I would definitely use them again. In fact, if and when we finally decide to switch the refrigerators, we'll call them.

They were responsive with getting the on-site estimate. Their pricing was fair. The workers were professional in their handling of the property. They completed the work in a timely manner. My only grievance with them was that they forgot to unload some glass to a desk. They contacted me a week later to let me know it was left on the truck. We made arrangements to drop off the glass at the storage facility.

I think that I got them off Angie's List. They charged me by the hour and the cost was pretty good. Their pricing was the best compared to what I looked at and I also got a discount for being a member of Angie's List. They were good about explaining what they do. They were helpful.

Kiki's team showed up early, carried office furniture and about 150 boxes up stairs to the truck, then stopped to pick up more stuff from a storage space on the way to the new office. Even though we ran out of boxes the night before and had a bunch of stuff in shopping bags, they handled this mess with grace and humor, and got everything moved without a single accident. They even moved a few pieces of heavy furniture that had been delivered directly to the office but were in the wrong place. I would totally use them again, and probably will, when we're ready to move the rest of the house!

The owner, Chris, stands by his people. We thought they lost a part and Chris was very concerned and sent out his men to find it. They ended up retrieving the part and their customer service the entire time was wonderful.

Professional, Fast, Helpful, Fantastic

It was a good experience with them. My daughter was very pleased with them.

If I was to score this moving company based on my experience the 2nd round of my move they'd get straight As, but unfortunately I used their services twice in the last 2 weeks (to divide up my move) and my first round ended on a sore note. That being said, out of the 5 different gentleman involved with moving my home, there was only one that was an issue. He had an attitude problem and sadly, it's cost the company this review. Otherwise, I was very pleased with the promptness the company had in getting back to me to schedule an in home ceiling estimate as well as scheduling in my two moving dates. Jim especially made the second date possible at very short notice. The crews are courteous, very respectful of your things, friendly, hard working and know how to wrap-pad-maneuver and stack every kind of furniture to ensure ultimate protection. I saw this level of experience across the board with all the guys. No items were damaged and extra care was taken to make sure I was happy with where boxes landed upon arrival and the way furniture was placed. They were even gracious and maybe a little surprised when I tipped them which I appreciate far more than expecting it.
