+ 0 moreWe worked with Mike to select linoleum, get an estimate & schedule the job (although we ended up finding bath lino elsewhere, so provided that ourselves). Our installer, Jose, is an A-1 professional installer, and completed a BEAUTIFUL job in just one day, including re-installing the toilet in the bathroom. Mike stopped by during the day to ensure all was going well. We'd call CARPER CORNER again for any flooring needs - gladly!!

The team that installed my vinyl flooring did a fantastic job. They have a lot of experience and are very efficient. I also had new carpeting placed in my bedrooms and that also was a efficient and well done job. My floors look amazing. I would hire you this company again without question and highly recommend their services.

+ 0 moreOutstanding. From the 1st call to Michael. To the assessment by Jose then the 1/2 day actual work by Alvo, followed by a personal check of all work by Michael. The timeline: Wednesday late afternoon 1st call to Michael. Thursday assessment and temporary fix of toilet by Jose. Saturday morning confirmation by Alvo. Alvo then gathered the appropriate material, completed installing the plywood, the new linoleum and molding, then installed a new toilet. Start to finish: 5 hours. Beautiful job, professional from start to finish. Michael & Jose listened to our concerns, passed appropriate instructions to Alvo who confirmed with us and did the job RIGHT. Just a great experience for us. Thank you Angie's List for the information you provided that led us to Carpet Corner and Michael Dallrifar. Previous reviews were spot on. Jose is "a rock star". Alvo is All Pro. Michael is the Best Conductor.

+ 1 moreI first went to Carpet Corner 7 years ago, when I purchased my condo and wanted to replace most of the main floor flooring with engineered hardwood. Mike and John gave me the best price quotes and provided excellent customer service, everything being done on time as promised. The wood is beautiful and has held up to the highest quality standards, so I did not hesitate to go to them again with my master bed and bath flooring needs. I worked with Mike this time, and he again gave me the best prices and service. I actually had some tile from another source that I wanted to use in addition to their carpet, and he was willing to work with me on providing the labor. His installers were on time and very professional, and I could not be more pleased with the results.

+ 0 moreCouldn't be happier with the results or the process. Had them install a waterproof laminate flooring throughout the entire house. After dealing with the janky work done by the prior owners, Mike's crew was able to get a beautiful floor installed quickly. Every home improvement project will have problems, but Mike's responsiveness to anything that happens and his level of communication on the state of your project is among the best I've experienced.

+ 0 moreI was surprised that it was only a one man job but he did a terrific job. He was promp,t very neat and precise and cleaned up when he was done. He leveled the floor before installing vinyl. Left to allow it to dry then returned to install floor. Again, he did a terrific job.

Description of Work: Carpet Corner, besides selling carpet and tile, can be a general contractor, and I used them to update my entire home. They removed a wall in the kitchen, provided new support beams under the guidance of an architect, put in new wood and laminate flooring, painted the entire home, replaced ugly tile fireplace with beautiful granite.... | |First of all, their price was about 60% of others (and I got some pretty good reasonably priced contractor recommendations from friends). They were super fast. Did all the work in the promised time-frame. Even if that meant driving from Torrance to Encino to pick up tiles so the work could go on as scheduled. | |Mike is a thorough gentleman and very professional. But like a crazy Easterner in a Peter Seller's movie, he can get a little excited! But can be forgiven, as some may say I am a tough customer. And my architect was pickier than me, which meant that he had to re-do something to meet the architect's precise specs, and Mike did it with no complaints. | |His construction crew (Peter) is amazing. As is Joe, his flooring guy, who managed to cut and chisel and place tile in the area that the wall was removed so I did not have to re-do the flooring in the entire kitchen. Masterpiece, that!. | |The one blemish in the entitre job is Valentino Figueroa, the painter. Don't let him f**** Valentino on you. His workmanship was fine, but he is a prima donna, complains about everything, and does not take sufficient care of your things. | |I highly recommend this team if you want to get your home updated at a reasonable price! |

+ -1 moreThey are terrific and very, very good. The quality of the floor was a mid-range price. We have used them before and they have laid flooring in all of our other rooms of our house over the past five or six years. If there are any problems they come right back out and they are very nice to work with. They get very friendly and personal. It is not just a business thing. I can walk into their store at any time. If I have an issue they will come out to me at any time. There is no hassle; they send their men out and they are always very pleasant, hard working, do the job quickly and clean up very well. We compared their pricing with a few others in the beginning and we found they were willing to work with us.
Description of Work: I used Carpet Corner to put down laminated flooring in a very large room.

+ 0 moreFine - measured - made recommendations which I appreciated - and got me the price estimate that evening. I placed order and he would be back shortly for installation. I did not report my original contact with this gentleman. I selected new wood blinds replacing the old Venetian style and old shutters. Hence, I was so pleased, I decided to order more resulting in his visit on 7/16. One more thing - his crew finished laying new laminate flooring in two bedrooms. I had decided laminate was best having animals. Mike did a fantastic job matching the laminate I had installed a number of years ago. They did a beautiful job and I couldn't be more pleased.
