Description of Work: Spent three plus hours with Sandy, our sales associate and design coordinator, going over first the styles of curtains for three different rooms, then the hardware, and finally the finishing touches. Their "curtain man" Kevin came out first to do measurements, and added his experience to the project, then the swatches arrived on a daily basis for about a week, so that we could ensure colors and styles actually blended into the rooms where they would finally reside. Than back to Sandy for the final decisions and contract time. The down payment was the normal 50% of the total, the rest due when installation complete and approved. All curtains are now at the fabricators, and we expect nothing but Calico Corners usual best.It is also best to remember that Calico is less expensive than some of the Interior Desirn Houses in the Valley, but then again you can always go to Anna's Linens and do it yourself...with the concomitant result.

Description of Work: I went to this establishment for an estimate for window treatments for my house.The service personnel was professional and patient. However, the price estimate was quite a bit higher than the other estimates that I received for similar product.

Description of Work: They showed up on time and did a good installation job. It took a bit longer than promised to get the curtains but not excessively. The main problem was the poor quality of the curtain fabric. After a few years wherever the sunlight hit the curtains the fabric started disintegrating. They now look like curtains in a haunted house imagine - sunlight hits the curtains. Duh. They did a decent job reupholstering se chairs, but I will not go back for replacement curtains.

+ -1 moreThe draperies were made and hung correctly and in the indicated time. However, 3 years later, the curtain material is absolutely disintegrating; there are large holes and rips in the curtains wherever the sun hit them - curtains will exposed to sun! I am very disappointed in the quality and will never get anything at a Calico Corners again.

+ -1 moreThey were prompt in measuring and installation. The curtains took a little longer than expected, but were made correctly and look wonderful. Their choice of fabrics and styles is excellent at a fraction of the cost if ordering from a designer.
Description of Work: Measured, made and installed 4 sets of ceiling to floor curtains in my bedroom.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE GOOD BECAUSE I WENT INTO THE STORE TO CHOOSE THE STUFF AND HAVE IT ORDERED. THAT WAS NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE, BUT THE INSTALLER WAS VERY GOOD. THE LADY THAT WAS HELPING TAKE CARE OF US WAS JUST NOT REAL THRILLED ABOUT WHAT SHE WAS DOING AND SHE WASN'T MUCH HELP. THE INSTALLER WAS VERY NICE AND MADE SURE THAT HE DID NOT MARK UP OUR FLOORS AND WALLS AND REALLY TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING.
Description of Work: WE HAD A DINING ROOM WINDOW, A VALANCE, AND SOME PANELS MADE.
