ARMSTRONG GARDEN CENTERS INC

I have been doing a lot of gardening so I have been purchasing a lot of mulch, soil and topsoil. Most of the large chain garden centers don't have employees who know about plants. At Armstrong, the employees all have gardens of their own. At a large chain, the employee will walk up to the plant and start reading the label to you. At Armstrong they will say "This says it is good for this but in my opinion, you should use this one over here." They help with many things; they are very helpful there. The plants tend to be higher quality but they are pretty pricy. They almost always have someone available to talk to there. I will continue to go there, in fact I am going back in an hour!

They have excellent service and excellent products. They offer deals for senior citizens on Wednesdays; we get a pretty good discount. They are very knowledgeable and they offer classes to the community. Their prices are competitive.

I emailed Armstrong detailing my problem with my fountain and pump. A contractor for Armstrong named Johnny Escobeza called me within a few days telling me he did fountain work for Armstrong and we talked about the problem. I needed a new pump and to have the pump rewired under some tilework. He gave me a verbal estimate that was good with me, so I had him come out to fix the fountain. He showed up with a partner and they preformed the work flawlessly. They also re set up the fountain and cleaned it. Way more than they needed to do and went above and beyond in doing a great job. Then when it was time to pay, he gave me a price that was half of what he quoted. Overall VERY happy with his work !!! I was looking for a specialist and the company provided me appropriate referrals.

I was very pleased with their plant recommendations and all but 2 of the 10 or so plants that I purchased thrived. Armstrong does allow you to return plants that do not survive. I honestly never got around to that, but I was well aware that it was a possibility. I appreciated the fact that they took the time to help me, made informative suggestions and then gave me space to make my own decisions.

KATHLEEN WAS A REAL JOY TO WORK WITH. SHE WAS PROMPT IN HER RESPONSES TO ME, EFFICIENT, ALWAYS ON TIME, IMAGINATIVE, AND COMPLETELY PROFESSIONAL. SHE HAS CONTINUED WITH UPKEEP AND KEEPS MY YARD THE HAVE I WANTED.

WE SHOP HERE OFTEN AND OUR EXPERIENCE IS ALWAYS GOOD. THEY HAVE VERY EXPERIENCED STAFF WHO WORK THERE, THEY ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CAN ANSWER ANY QUESTION. THE PLANTS ARE ALWAYS THE BEST QUALITY AND WE NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM.

THE EMPLOYEES AT THE GARDEN CENTER WERE VERY HELPFUL, THE PRICES WERE A LITTLE HIGH FOR SOME ITEMS BUT WORTH THE PRICE TO THE CONDITION AND BEAUTY OF THE PLANTS.
