Excellent work. I recommended these guys to my neighbor.

Got an estimate from a gentleman for flooring, and we had let him know we were shopping for estimates and were not ready to make a decision. He then proceeded to tell us because "he came all the way out there" we should give him our deposit and sign paperwork so that if we went with him we would not need to make the drive to sign paperwork. He said if we went in another direction our deposit check would be refunded. We did this, and although he said he wouldn't, he ran my credit and cashed the check the following day (despite the fact he knew we were looking into other estimates). When we went with another carpet company, he was very abrasive and said he could not stop the order as he already put it through. Eventually after a great hassle, he refunded our money. He was not professional, and refused to give us his last name. I would not look into service with this company. I cannot comment on their quality of work, as we did not get that far. Their quality of products seemed to be good.

We were very satified with the price and the installation of the carpet.

No follow up after visiting my home and measuring. Seemed to be put off that I had the nerve to get another quote and when I even showed him the sample and told him it was $21/yard from the other guy he scoffed and said no way this guy could sell Shaw TufTex for that price. I would have prefered him being honest and tell me that there wasn't enough margin in it for him (which was likely the truth). I ended up getting a better carpet for $17 a yard at a place that gets good size remnants. A1 may be and OK place but the saleman they sent out was horrible. This guy showed up with his kid and I was embarassed for his kid. He was worse than a used car salesman and I even offered him a hardwood flooring job with a sample for him to match and he never called back!

I visited the store two weeks before Christmas to find carpeting for the office that had flooded when we had a pipe leak. Robert showed me several samples and gave his opinion of what would work for my room within my price range and preferences. I found him very helpful and I think he gave me a good deal on what I picked out. He also ordered it from the carpet manufacturer, and it was ready for installation in less than a week. On the scheduled installation day, it was pouring down rain, and I was worried about having in put in under those conditions, so when the dispatcher called that morning I asked if I could postpone the installation. He had no problem with my request, and we rescheduled for the following week. They came today and did a great job- quick and professional. The carpet looks wonderful. We couldn't be happier with the whole process and result.

A-1 has a simple, no frills showroom, but they seem to have a good selection. The salesman, Sam, was nice, professional, and helpful. The installers were nice and helpful as well(helped us move a big TV out of the room even though they didn't really have to). My only minor complaint was that although we were given the day when installation would take place, we we were told that a dispatcher would call us the morning of the installation between 9-10 am. By the time the dispatcher called at 9am, the installers had already arrived 15 minutes before. It turned out fine for us, though, because we had wanted it done the sooner the better.

I WAS HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY DID. THE PRICE AND THEIR WORK WERE FINE. THE SALESMAN THAT HELPED US WAS NICE, TOO. I WAS REAL HAPPY WITH THEM. I WOULD GO WITH THEM AGAIN.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS VERY PLEASANT. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. WHEN THE CARPET LAYERS CAME TO THE HOUSE, THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND TOOK OFF MY OLD CARPET AND HAD TO WORK HARD TO GET IT OFF. THEY WERE GREAT.
