I suggest that before hiring Mr. Sholty, potential clients are given the opportunity to discuss with me my view on whether I think he is capable of the project in question. The project is in Pacific Palisades over the time frame of May 2011 until his termination on March 2013. I would never work with Mr. Sholty again, nor can I recommend him.
Description of Work: Jim Sholty was the general contractor for an extensive remodel of a hillside home. He was the completion contractor and came on when the house was out of the ground with a new foundation, fully framed , with windows. After almost two years, it was still not complete so I could not move into it. He also built a new (not remodel) 3 car garage, pool, and rec room. This structure was more or less on schedule.

It went excellent. He was within his budget. His crew was great and had no problems. They cleaned up after they were done working. The job they did was very good also.
Description of Work: He replaced a deteriorating floor of the parking garage and the support posts.
