Description of Work: They spray around the house and yard for pest control (ants, roaches, etc.). They clear spider webs from eves of house to discourage entry. The process seems to be working well.

Description of Work: Angieslist description says free estimates. I called local number thinking I would get Thousand palms office. Call went to a call center in Van nuys. Operator advised me of $75.00 fee for estimate. I said ;no thanks. she said she would try to get the fee waived. My reaction was to end the conversation and look elsewhere. The operated offered to call company to waive fee, but was not able to reach them. So much for that.

Description of Work: This is hands down the best exterminator I have ever used. We are new to Malibu and had an ant problem. They have someone in the area and he is great and incredibly responsive. When we see a few ants; we call and he is here within an hour.

+ -1 moreAfter the first time they came, we have not seen any ants. We also have a dog and a toddler, and they are very conscientious of this, making sure they don't use toxic chemicals. The always come on time, and make sure to call ahead of time. They are very reasonable, honest, and we enjoy their service. They price all depends on what they are doing, but it is always reasonable.
Description of Work: We have used them for 2 years now. We started using them because we had an ant problem. They come out once a month to spray for insects.

+ -1 more. The last time they were here they did the regular exterior exterminating stuff. They were generally getting ready for summer so that bugs do not come inside. They are honest, they do good work and careful to keep aside their chemicals and stuff. They are conscientious about their work. You can talk to them and ask them anything that you want like the type of chemicals they use and things like that. They will work with you to find the right level of service,and the correct chemical. If anything changes like you find you are facing problems with rats or something else they would right away take care of it at no extra cost if you have the regular maintenance service.. They are great. I would continue to use them in the future.

I've also had occasion to call Western Exterminator for individual jobs like rats, a squirel in the house that needed removing, and finally a new-born kitten that was caught in the attack. They removed the kitty unharmed, and managed to catch the squirel and free it without huring it, and finally setting appropriate rat traps. Termite fumigation: Not done as yet, but will use.
Description of Work: I have a yearly maintenance contract with Western Exterminator, and have had for over 6 years. They always call me before they are coming, and have been responsive. I recently asked for an estimate for Termite Inspection and they responded with a prompt visit and estimate. I found their estimate to be in line with other estimates from competitors, but haven't done the work as yet. One another note, the report indicated that there were three things that needed attention...the shower pan needed replacing, two boards on the roof that had termite damage need removal and replacing, and then, the actual fumigation component. I decided to contact and use two other contractors for the first two jobs, and then use Western for the actual fumigation of the garage. When I told this to the sales person that quoted me the entire job....he seemed annoyed and quite abrupt. I will still use their service, however I was a little put off by his attitude of not getting the entire job. The cost of doing the garage only is $1,000 which seems reasonable. However, that was in conjunction with everything else that needed repair. I'm hoping that the salesperson will hold to that figure and not increase it inasmuch as we have already had the other work done. Time will tell, and I'll do an ammendment once the work is completed.

Description of Work: Cricket removal (indoors). Sprayed outdoors & indoors. Service was prompt, polite & effective. Before the work, I spoke to several "supervisors" and they all agreed and seemed to know what they were talking about. Hearing "All you have to do is empty the cabinets" did make me wait an extra month or two.
