Description of Work: Installed a new ace system. Chris came out, gave me a bid for a seer 18 system and they installed it 5 days later. There was no problems and were great to deal with. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Air conditioner check-up. I purchased a plan for 2 calls a year--one in the fall for the furnace and one in the spring for a/c. Experience was super. In fact, it might have saved me a bundle. I had previously called DCS (owned by General) for a furnace tune up and while they did a good job and are VERY personable, they also have a reputation for being one of the most expensive in town (which I found out too late). They recommended a 'pan treatment' or something like that for and additional $50, which I agreed to. In response to my complaint about how loud the furnace/a/c was, they suggested that I widen the return air duct to my furnace, which would reduce the noise and also make my furnace motor not work as hard. Cost would be about $1,300. I also purchased their 2x a year package. | |I started having doubts and decided to check Angies to find another company to get a 2nd opinion (I should have checked Angies first!). Timo's had great ratings and I gave them a call. A technician came out the same day, at no charge, to advise me. The tech said I wasted my money on the pan treatment. He also suggested that I do NOT widen the return air since my furnace was working ok and since the furnace was directly above the return, the noise would not decrease. I asked about their pricing and their normal pricing is equal to the 'discounted' pricing from DCS. I then agreed to the 2x/year contract and had the a/c tuned. Great company. Great service. Very professional. (I cancelled the DCS contract.)

Description of Work: Timo installed all new ducts (17), a new Trane furnace, a new top of the line Trane air conditioner, and a new Trane thermostat. It works great, and the system is ultra quiet which is a wonderful bonus.

Description of Work: I used Timo's AC last year for normal maintenance on my AC units and they were able to detect a corroded wire that ran from my AC unit to the control panel which of course can become a bigger problem if it wasn't taken care of right away. I called them again this year for maintenance. There was a power outage a few days ago and one of the fans of one unit was running all day/night and couldn't be shut off. They were able to fix both the compressor and the thermostat which were damaged due to the power outage. They are very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and always on time.

They came out within an hour of our call, cleaned and repaired the system, checking to make sure everything was OK. | |We had used them for the previous two service calls for regular cleaning and maintenance, and found them to be very professional, courteous, timely and reasonable in cost without trying to sell us anything. | |With this latest service, we decided to go with an annual service package, since they've been so reliable to date.

Description of Work: The company was extremely professional. Their assessment of our needs and requirements in a new system was considerate of our wish list and budget. The estimate was done on May 25th and the installation done on the 27th. Seven men worked for twelve ours on an extremely difficult installation but they kept at it until both systems were up and running smoothly before they left the site. There is an old saying that you get what you pay for and I can tell you that with Timo that is true. another saying: "The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten" is true as well. I recommend this company above all the others in our area. If you want it done right, call them.
