I tried to replace the flapper on my leaky, running, toilet myself, but of course, I could not find the correct size part after searching 3 hardware stores & ended up having to order the flapper online. Additionally, in my desire to be a DYI'er, I messed up the tank gasket, which dissolved when I touched it. In exasperation, I realized I needed a plumber. I have had very good luck with Angie's list people, and Richard is no exception. He responded quickly to my call, made an appointment and arrived promptly on time...he checked all the fittings in all 3 toilets and fixed a problem in one that could have ended up flooding that bath. I also needed to order a gasket since they are not available in the hardware stores for this model commode, and that took a week. Mr. Fortune waited for payment in order to finish the job, which he did as soon as the parts arrived. I am ever so grateful to have found an honest, thorough and pleasant guy. I will use him for any future plumbing needs.

Richard responded right away to my voice mail. Came over within the hour. Made the repairs, and corrected some additional issues with my agreement. Very professional. pleasant to work with. Would highly recommend and will call him again if other issues arise.

He is outstanding. I am remodeling my kitchen and the first thing I needed is to fix the gas pipe, which he did immediately. He also fixed the hot and cold water pipes in the laundry room and fixed the pressure regulator for my house. So overall he was always on time, very friendly and got the work done in the most professional way. I would recommend him if you are in need for a plumber.

Excellent. Richard fixed and connected the gas line to the dryer on the same day that I called him. He was running a bit late due to completing another pre-exiting job, but he called and texted me with an estimated arrival time to my home. Considering that I called him in the morning and that he had the dryer all connected that late afternoon was awesome! Most importantly, my family was happy to have the laundry room back in action! Who knew that would be a priority!! Thanks Richard!!!!!!!!

Very well. Richard is very smart and a great problem solver. He does not seem to shy away from a challenging job. We had several challenging jobs that other plumbers dismissed. He was happy to take them on and did a great job solving the problem. He made great suggestions on what would make it work better and tackled items (sink handles, two of the toilets and the water filtration system) that others would not have wanted too. He gave terrific suggestions and took initiative to offer better ways. I liked that. There were some time delays due to other jobs, but he did text me that he was running behind which I appreciated and was able to let others know. I understand that sometimes plumbing jobs can take longer than originally determined.

He did an excellent job. He was very efficient. He upgraded the garbage disposal to a better one and he moved the line over a little bit so it would flow better. The price was a little high but worth the money.

I would not ever recommend him. He came over eating an ice cream and dripping it. He just gave me roundabout figures for what he had to do. He came into the house to wash his hands because they were sticky. He said he would do something to the line for the washing machine where the water comes in and then he said he would do something to the dryer so that it would help but it wouldn't pass inspection for $200. He was too lackadaisical and very irresponsible. His prices were outrageous. He didn't charge to come out for the estimate. He was on another job and he just dropped by. He first said he couldn't do it and then he was in the area so he called.

Richard was very thorough. Covered washer an dryer with blankets to ensure there was no damage.

I was very disappointed. They only installed one of the toilets and never showed up for the second one. Four months later he sent me a bill for the job he completed, which I paid. I am done with him. The quality was good for the one toilet he did.

Time constraints made it difficult for us to hire Wildwood this go-round but we will use them for our next plumbing need for sure.

We made an appointment with Richard to evaluate our issues. He told us he would have to purchase some parts and would call us when he had what he needed to complete our job. A few days later he called and came by and did the repairs to our satisfaction.

I called at 10:37 AM and left a message. Richard called back at 1:45. When I told him what I needed done, and there would be a lot of sweat fitting of Copper pipes, he said he didn't like doing that. Maybe it's me, but some of the specialities he lists as work he does is "REPAIRING & REPLACING TOILETS, FAUCETS AND VALVES," and "NEW CONSTRUCTION & REMODELS". One would expect a plumber who does this kind of work would do Copper sweat fitting. I will say that he was nice about it, but his services seem to be limited.

This was my first experience using Angies list. I selected Wildwood Specialty Plumbing based on the favorable reviews and close proximity. My wife told me about a hissing sound coming from behind a wall that I could not hear. A couple of days later I could hear it myself and went to Angies list to look for help. Richard was quick to solve the problem which was so quick I found an other job for him to take care of while he was here. Very happy I made the call.

Bottomline, he was honest, knowledgeagle and thorough. We trust him and would ask for his help again.

He was very friendly and took great care to make sure as to not make a mess which I appreciated very much. After about an hour he figured out the problem and it worked fine. He did a great job and I would definitely use him again.

Richard did a thorough job . He is that rare contractor . Honest , fair and cares about the quality of his work .

Richard is the best plumber I have come across in my 28+ years as a homeowner. He is very neat and tidy in his work, taking care to protect my carpet and floors and to clean up the work area completely. He was very efficient but devoted the appropriate amount of time to properly accomplish both repairs. A bit of a DIY myself, I had taken some initial steps in attempting to repair the shower drain on my own, but realized I needed an expert to ensure success. Richard was perfectly professional in both his skills and in explaining the two repairs to me. His bill was very reasonable and I appreciated that he is a sole-proprietor who does all the work himself. He is also a very delightful nice person.

Excellent overall experience, pleasant and professional service

The plumber came out the same day I called and gave me a reasonable estimate. We established a schedule to begin the work and he came as scheduled. He was very reasonable in establishing mutually agreed upon follow-on schedules to complete the tasks.

Everything went well and quality of work, knowledge and attention to detail were all excellent.

They're very good. They have a good price, a good service, and he's a nice guy. I have no complaints and would use him again. He was excellent and very personable. The guy is a one company guy and he does his job.

He was great! We had some problems getting the correct parts for our shower. He took many calls from us, for a month, before he came out to fix the shower each time explaining why what we purchased was incorrect and explaining what we needed to find. When we finally got the correct parts he came out and installed them. . Extremely nice and explained everything to us. The shower and faucet now work great. The price was more than fair.
