A tree root penetrated our drain pipe between our house and the street. They identified the problem and replaced the drain. They performed an outstanding job.

The installation of the new 3" side yard drain line was complicated due to a number of large conifer trees with invasive roots and two walls that had to be tunneled under to route the new line to the street. T.O. Plumbing's quote was thousands less than the competition that we had used in the past (you know, the big company with the cute radio ads). The finished job was first-rate, down to the detailed level of replanting landscaping, sifting and replacing decorative rocks, and hosing down our walkways. The crew was helpful and responsive when we asked for an addition to the design that added a day of labor to the project. We'll definitely be calling T.O. Plumbing for quotations on several other renovation and remodeling jobs that we are anticipating.

Two holes were dug, one at the house and the other at the boulevard. The next day 4-inch trenchless pipe was installed, along with a clean-out access by the house. The crew worked hard under difficult weather conditions - it was unseasonably warm, over 100 degrees in the afternoon. After replacing the pipe, the holes were filled up and some sod replaced. After that there was only one slight hiccup - a nearby sprinkler pipe got cracked during the digging. We reported this and the next day they repaired it expertly. We are very satisfied with the work and the responsive, professional service.

Recently Thousand Oaks Plumbing completely repiped our home. This is the second job they've completed for us and we are extremely pleased. They provided five different options prior to beginning. They put no pressure on us to choose any particular strategy. Sean and Romero came out to clearly explain each one. They walked our house and yard with us to show us exactly what to expect. The workers came each day in plenty of time for us to get to work. They put in a full day of grueling work. John led the crew and was always considerate and professional. Brandon, Chris, and Guillermo, among others, were part of the dedicated, determined team. When you are facing plumbing issues, especially of this scale, you sincerely hope for a company whom you can trust. I highly recommend Thousand Oaks Plumbing, as they are one of the few companies left who truly take pride in their work and meet the customers needs with professionalism, good humor, and integrity.

I thought they were really expensive. They were extremely pricey I thought for what they were doing. I think they did a good job. We won't know until something else happens, which hopefully it won't, but nothing has happened. I don't know if prices are different based on the city that you live in. Los Angeles what I would of paid for something that was $800 then in West Lake Village I paid $1800. It's a huge difference. I had the same service done in Los Angeles for only $800. It was a $1000 more. They were very nice and was responsive to my phone calls. They showed up early. When I made the appointment, they came when they said they would. I think they probably did quality work, I mean you don't know until something else happens, but we were kind of in a bind because they had already removed the toilet and all this work and they were in the process of doing it and they were like it's going to be $1800. So we were kind of in a bind and was like we kind of had to move forward with it. Every thing was fine about it except that price. I don't know what the price would be with another plumber to come out, but these guys came sooner. [Inaudible starting at 9:26] I was surprised that nobody contacted me. I just paid them $1800, the plumber had left a tool, and nobody got back in touch with me.

They were referred to me through my home warranty insurance. They checked my garbage disposal and found that it needed to be replaced. It was approved by the insurance and the new disposal was installed right away.

It was very pleasant, and it was quick and he was very knowledgeable. It was a great experience.

I was very pleased! Scheduling was very professional. There was one time when I had called them and they had someone coming out, but then for some reason there was somebody who was off that day. They called back and rescheduled. Very good at communication.

I wasn't so excited with them. Their service on part worked and part didn't work so they could have checked that to make sure that it worked. I thought they were nice enough but they didn't follow up. I will use them only to fix what they haven't completed, what didn't work right. Otherwise, I don't think I would use them again.

After a careful review of local plumbers on yelp and Angie's list I decided to call Thousand Oaks Plumbing to ask them to help stop a water leak in my garage. Jesse came the next day on time and quickly determined that it was a hot water pipe leaking through the slab. He was very knowledgable and showed great professionalism - first class. To find out exactly where the leak was he quickly recommended and with my agreement called Pinpoint Leak Detection to set up an appointment. Jason from Pinpoint Leak Detection came the next day and established quickly and efficiently where the leak was. Another 5 star experience. After his visit, Dan the owner of Thousand Oaks Plumbing came the same day to determine what repairs needed to be done. We agreed on a pipe by-pass and already the next day he and one of his crew came and did the repairs. I was gone for the day. I came back to a dry and a clean garage. No more leaks. For future plumbing issues I certainly know who to call. We are lucky to have companies like Thousand Oaks Plumbing in our area. Thank you!

I had a friend that recommended them who also had a very good experience with them. They are a very good company and I was very satisfied with their work. They're friendly, clean, and very responsive.

Jessie was awesome. As I was cleaning the toilet a travel-size bottle of body lotion fell in and was flushed down and clogged it. I called Thousand Oaks Plumbing and told them what I needed. They advised me of the hourly rate as well as the 10% discount for AL members. They also advised me that the toilet may have to be taken out if the bottle couldn't be removed which could incur additional cost. So I knew up front what to expect. Jessie arrived within 1 hour of my call. He used a special tool to try to remove the bottle, but it wasn't working. Nevertheless, he kept trying. He was aware of timing and finally had to remove the toilet and told me if he couldn't remove the bottle, I would need a new toilet. After several more attempts he was finally able to remove the bottle, thus saving me the additional expense of getting a new toilet. All along he told me what was going on. Jessie was relentless; he wouldn't let that clogged toilet defeat him! I am so grateful for his professionalism and appreciate his honesty. I'm very glad I found this company and will most definitely use them again.

My husband called in the morning and an appointment was schedule for later in the day 12-2pm. The owner (Dan) and another gentleman came out to repair the master bath clogged toilet and the 2 sinks. The work was completed within 30 mins. Dan gave recommendation on a water heater and water heater circulation replace. Back 3/14/15 when we 1st used Thousand Oaks plumbing to installed 3 sink faucets. We thought the price was high and I did not give them a good review. We decided to give them another chance. Let me tell you, I'm so glad we did because Dan did not charge us for today job because we were not happy with the previous job. Husband and I were shocked and Thank Dan for the service. What Exceptional Customer Service. This is a truly family owed company because they really care about their customers and the service(s) they preform. I would definitely use them again and would recommend to all my friends.

Tom--Tech came out and met my husband at 12 to replace 3 faucets in our bathrooms. Apparently no estimate cost was discuss. When the job was complete. The total cost was $500 to replace 3 faucets. Both my husband and I were shock and look at each other like "What the .......". I truly feel were pay to much and it did not matter that we were Angie's List member. Now, one of the faucet is loose and you can spin it around. I am sure now that we were over charged for the work. The 1st time Tom came out and he did a great job and the price was reasonable. We thought we have found a good local plumber. We even refer them to our next door neighborhood. I guess I have to start looking for another plumb

From the time I called the office to make an appointment, I knew I had found a good company. I was able to set up an appointment on my desired day without any problem & was told up front that the hourly rate was $125/hour. The technician, Tom, was on time, professional, knowledgeable, & pleasant. Parts required were on his truck so I did not have to wait around while he went to his supplier. I am so glad that I found Thousand Oaks Plumbing. I had previously used another plumbing company (not on Angie's List) that charged an arm & a leg and did poor quality work. I can't tell you what a relief it is to now have a plumbing company that I trust. I would not hesitate to use Thousand Oaks Plumbing in the future & I highly recommend them.

Danny initially came out and inspected an interior wall pipe leak. After making sure there was no danger of further imminent water damage, he came back within a day or two and fixed it without a hitch and at, what I felt, was the right price. He may be more expensive by the hour than you might find with other plumbers but because he is smart, efficient and very good, I do not believe he is more expensive in the end. If he his, it is more than worth it. In short, you get what you pay for ... and in my experience, plumbing is one area worth making sure you get what you pay for. Therefore, I decided to have him look at a number of other routine and preventative items I had put off over the years. It became clear to me right away that I had found the right plumber. Danny sent Tom and Joe to do this work. At first, I was a little wary because 1) I thought Danny was going to do the work and 2) I really didn't want to have to explain what needed to be done again. Happily, both my concerns proved unfounded. Danny had gone over everything with Tom in great detail and all I had to do was give the two of them a tour of the house. They took it from there and never missed a beat. By the end of the day, Tom and Joe had completed an enormous amount of work and at a total price more than reasonable. Even better, their work was truly fantastic and they both couldn't have been any nicer to have in the house. I'm not sure how much more I'm supposed to ask out of a plumber. Come to my house when you say you will, make everything ship shape, be really pleasant and require no supervision to get the job done and leave a bill that I feel is more than fair. While I do normally leave reviews when I use Angie's list businesses, they are usually about 3-4 lines. I felt TO Plumbing deserved a better description based on this particular experience. I will certainly be calling them again.
