Well, it could have gone better. I purchased the two hours through Angie's Deal and was supposed to hear from him within two business days. When I didn't hear from him by the end of business of the second day, I called him. When he called back the next day, he said something along the lines of his email being broken. Which gave me pause: if you are engaging in an online promotion that promises contact within a certain amount of time, I would think that you would make sure your connectivity was completely engaged. Anyway, we agreed upon a day and he said he would call that morning and that I would either be before or after another client. Rob was agreeable to scheduling me first since the other job had the potential to run long. He cleared the clog in the kitchen sink (a plastic bag), but unplugged the disposal (more on that later). He evaluated the sinks in two bathrooms: both are old and we agreed that it would be more work than I was willing to do right then to get them to drain faster. He fixed the flush mechanism on one of our toilets. He was very pleasant and knew what he was doing. Now, to the unplugged disposal. I freely admit that I'm a ninny. When I looked under the sink, I saw something plugged in -- I didn't realize it was the dishwasher. I didn't want to play around with the intersection of electricity and plumbing, so I called the office number of the plumbing service and left a message. I did not hear back from him. By Tuesday, I called his cell phone and he said he did not get my message, but that he remembered unplugging the disposal, but thought he had plugged it back in -- and that one outlet didn't work. I went back under the sink and found the disposal power cord and plugged it in and all was well. All in all, he knows what he's doing, but the communication aspect was more challenging than it should have been.

My Overstock.com faucet started leaking 2 years from the initial installation - (don't buy plumbing on Overstock.com). I bought a Angie's List Big Deal for about $100. This plumber showed up on time ... found the problem fairly quickly ... had to make a trip to the plumbing supply to get a part and then had to creatively make that part work with my faucet. He also fixed another problem that I had with one of the handles. I did not really want to spend the extra money, but I was so happy to have the loose faucet tightened. The whole job cost about $200 which was more than the cost of the faucet (as I said ... NEVER buy plumbing from Overstock). All in all, a very good experience.

My daughter-in-law said he was very professional. I was not home but he did come out promptly.

I purchased an upgraded disposal from Amazon and RG England installed it in my rental. I am a remote landlord so I need someone I can trust. He did exactly what he told me and did not charge me for any surprises. My tenants were satisfied. The price was very reasonable.

Our old kitchen faucet was leaking and was going to be as much to fix as to replace, so I purchased a better quality faucet and took advantage of an Angie's list Deal for installation service. After viewing prior reviews for RG England Plumbing I was comfortable calling them. We were able to schedule a convenient time and Robert did a very professional job with the installation. He also noted how our garbage disposal was not quite properly plumbed (functionally okay, but could be a problem if more highly used), and the electric wiring to it was also not proper (it was directly wired instead of having an outlet installed). These were conditions left from when we remodeled our kitchen about 12-years ago. He did not push to fix them; just noted that the next time we planned to do any work in that area, it would be a good thing to fix. He also did a free general evaluation of our overall plumbing installations and setup. Nothing severe except noting that we would be better off with metal braided hoses connecting the toilets, rather than plastic. These will be remedied soon. While he was here I also asked him for an estimate for the complete remodeling of two bathrooms that I am planning to do, along with possibly replacing about 45-ft of 50-yr old sewer drain line that runs under the house. He took his time as we discussed the various aspects of the remodel, drawing diagrams and taking dimensions. He also noted that the sewer line replacement could be considered optional, and we could evaluate it further. Since I recently replaced another section, and given the age of the house and the planned bathroom remodeling (which is above the sewer drain line), I am considering biting the bullet and replacing the additional line when I do the bathroom remodel. I found Robert's approach very professional, deliberate and thoughtful; there was no high pressure selling or overselling of his capability (the other Angie's list reviews provided me with reasonable confidence to ask for the estimate). I expect his estimate soon, and expect to seriously consider RG England for the future job.

We contacted Robert in the morning via email. He called within an hour and indicated he was doing jobs during the day but would try to squeeze us in. He came out in the afternoon and installed the faucet in the kitchen. He was very helpful and had recommendations along the way. He did the work quickly, efficiently, and professionally. He recommended we upgrade a hose and connector and charged only $20 for it. At the end he offered to walk the house and do an inspection on plumbing (bathrooms, sinks, tubs, toilets, water heater). He pointed some things out and made recommendations on how to fix or when to fix. Overall an excellent experience and we would certainly use him again in the future.

It went well, because he did not rush, & as previously mentioned he checked all the plumbing, including the dishwasher & water heater to make sure that all was well. He did not charge us additional for this work. We would definitely call Robert with any future plumbing problems, & can recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing work done.

Had attempted to install a new kitchen faucet and ran into trouble. Called plumber and with lightning speed, he was there and quick as a bunny resolved the problem and finished installing the faucet for me.

The technician spent longer than we actually paid for (his discretion) and really bent over backwards to help us out and get the drain unclogged. It didn't seem like at first the drain was going to clear (sharp corners that kept stopping the tool) but he kept at it and did not give up. Small family owned business that really cares.

Robert did a great job when he serviced our home. We had a clogged drain and we gave him a call to see if he could come take a look. Within 30 minutes he was there and about 30 minutes later he fixed the problem. Great guy and great company. Definitely recommend him.

Even though our location a very remote, Robert arrived on time, and finished the work very quickly, especially as access to the piping was in a very low crawl space.

In a very stressful situation, Rob made me feel very comfortable. He knew what he was doing and was very respectful of our home and of me. Unlike other plumbers I've used, he was very careful to not make a mess and cleaned up after himself. I really appreciated that! I will definitely use Rob again!

They were prompt and the price was average. They were friendly and nice. They were very careful. They didn?t charge me the first time because they had to come back to do some more work.
