Description of Work: I contacted McElroy Overhead Garage Door Service and spoke to Kevin. We set up an appointment for Friday October 10, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is a rental property and it was vacant. I came to the property at 12:00 noon and I saw his business card on the door. When I called him he told me that he came at 11:30 a.m. He said he tried to call me and text me and I did not respond. Although I saw that he text me later and tried to call, but I take issue with him not committing to the time he agreed and then calling the last minute to change the time, leaving a message then leaving. He was not agreeable to coming back. He said we would have to reschedule. This is not quality customer service.

McElroy was able to come to my house the same day and repaired everything in less than 30 minutes. The price was very fair. He was professional and friendly. In fact, he left our garage door running the smoothest and quietest it had run in years.

When the insert arrived I found out that he had to order it as a pair for $50, but would only charge me $25. Unfortunately, I had given him the wrong name for the particular insert that I ordered so I offered to pay the $25 because it was my mistake. He refused the money. If I need a job on my garage I will be calling Kevin.
