I called for a quote on Monday. I was told they could come out on Wednesday from 4-5 p.m. and that I would receive a call confirming that. There was never a call and no one showed up to provide a quote.

Excellent. Showed up on time. All work and the clean-up was finished in a timely manner. Workers were very efficient, professional and courteous. Will definitely hire again for any future jobs. Was charged the price that was quoted with no additional charges when the job was completed.

About 2 weeks ago, Miguel Pineda came to my house and gave me a very reasonable estimate for removing some trees. Last week I called him and made an appointment to for him to come today, Saturday at 8:00 AM to remove the trees. Today, I waited until 8:30 and when he didn't show up, I called him to ask if he was going to do the job. His response was, clearly, that of someone who forgot the appointment. He started to say that due to the rain yesterday, some of his workers didn't show and it was probably too wet to do the job today (today being bright and sunny btw.) While he was talking I could hear background noise that sounded like machinery. I suspect he booked another, perhaps higher paying job today and completely forgot about my job. I had prepped the area, alerted my neighbors and aside the day for this project which is now significantly delayed while I find another tree removal contractor. I use Angie's list to avoid dealing with unprofessional operators just like this!

Our experience with them was very good. We have used them for two years. They were really the only people that would do that work in our area. They did all of our neighbors that was really convenient. The quality was very good. They always cleaned up. They were prompt and quick. We had no complaints.

We have a number of large conifers on our property, maybe 60-70 years old. They had English Ivy growing all the way up, and this stuff was impenetrably thick (the individual vines were up to 2-3 inches thick). It took Mr. Pineda and his crew the better part of a week to completely cut away and remove all the vines - some of this stuff had to come off in interwoven sheets, instead of individual vines. Once that was done the crew topped off a couple of trees and removed some heavy limbs that could have come down in a high wind. (Santa Anas, anyone?) The yard was chaos while the crew was there but we lived around the activity, and they cleaned things up nicely. It's great to see the actual trees again!

I couldn't be happier with Miguel and his crew. They showed up on time, worked hard, did a beautiful job of trimming my trees, and cleaned up completely before leaving. Miguel's estimate for the tree work was $950, slightly higher than the other bid I received. I chose M.A.P. because they were also able to repair my gate properly for $250. Rather than suggesting a stopgap repair, he saw that the gate hand been poorly hung initially and needed to be taken down and anchored properly to the masonry wall. I would definitely use this company again!

Highly recommend Miguel. He came on Wednesday for a quote and his guys came on Thursday. They were very professional trimmed the tree exactly how I wanted it and cleaned everything up!

The name of the company that I used is Pines to Palms located in Hemet, Ca. The owner is Dan. I had a very large tree in my front yard that needed trimming/lacing. I made a call to get a price quote for tree trimming and Dan called me back the next day. He described what he would do (set the expectations), told me when he would be available to do the job (the next day) and told me how much it would cost to do the job. He also explained that this type of trimming is to keep my tree healthy and that the crew would clean up the trimmings before leaving. Furthermore, Dan gave me advise on removing some surface roots that I have been concerned about. Dan was very professional and accommodating. I would recommend Pines to Palms to others.

Contacted them for an estimate for tree trimming and removing a stump. They were very professional, but booked for a week or so. I scheduled a time to meet, but found a provider that was available immediately. My limited experience was positive.

I called him to make an appointment and he said I am outside his service area and that he was too busy to come all the way out to me. A couple weeks later I tried calling him again and left a message, but he never called me back. I am getting a refund on the Deal from Angie's List. When I did speak with him he would not give me a definite price but kept saying that the rate would depend on the size and type of tree and what all I wanted done to it. I ended up just having my gardener do it.

I received an estimate for the work on 10/8 and the work was performed on 10/15. The MAP crew arrived promptly at 8 AM and worked until the until 6 PM to complete the work. All the work was done very professionally and area was cleaned up prior to departure. I was very satisfied with the price and quality of the work. I plan to talk to MigueI the week of 10/22 to solidify the follow-on effort to complete the side upgrade - plants, boulders, ground cover, etc.

No responses, had to contact him 4 times to get a quote...NO PROFESSIONALISM.

They came to work on time, worked incredibly hard, did a beautiful job shaping the trees, and did a terrific job cleaning up when they were done. I've used them before and will use them again.
