Larry demolished the old driveway and poured in a new one (stamped concrete). Within a couple of weeks, the color stated to fade. Kept calling him to come back and fix it. In the meantime, pieces of it start to chip off and break. It took weeks and many phone calls and texts to get him to come back. Would not return calls, would not show up as promised, several times he said he forgot or was busy. He came back and said he needed to wash it off. That did not make any difference. Again, more phone calls and many weeks later, he showed up and this time he said the problem was because he had not sealed it in the beginning. He also said that because the color was now drastically faded, maybe he should reapply a different color and then seal it. He did not come right away to do this. It took a few months and after many phone calls, he finally showed up to do what he said he wanted to do. Within a week after reapplying new color and sealing, the driveway started peeling off, and this was his third time with this driveway. Phone calls again, he showed up and asked for another chance to fix it with a better seal. We said OK, but he never showed up and never returned phone calls or texts. It had been about 9 months since he first started the job. We filed a complaint with the Contractor Licensing Board which is now in progress.
