They receive Costco's business and then proceeded to trash talk Costco. It was implied (yes only implied) that I could get a better deal without going through Costco. I have an issue with my current carpet and Costco sent them to evaluate it. I am still waiting for an answer. The man who did show up was rude and only spend about 30 seconds in my home. I then receive a call from a gal who said she was from Costco. When I called back, I asked why it was an 805 area code. She then informed me that she works for Flooring 101 and not Costco, but because I was a Costco person it was just easier to say that. In my opinion, that is complete misrepresentation. If my carpet is not under warranty, I cannot use Costco this time (although I love them) because this company is rude and in my opinion unethical!

Wonderful company...All of the staff starting with the Sales Associate Missy to the actual installers were great. Great Price - Quality Job.

The salesman was very intuitive and helpful in picking out the flooring I wanted. I gave him my general ideas and some examples and he nailed it. The installation went smoothly and the craftsmanship is excellent. The floor installers were courteous, helpful and made great efforts to keep everything as clean as possible.

3 PEOPLE ARRIVED ON SCHEDULED TIME AND DATE.....THEY WERE VERY GOOD .......KNEW THEIR JOB WELL...........LAID THE CARPET.........CLEANED UP......... IN OUR OPINION THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN A TIMELY BASIS..........

They were very thorough with the prepping and installation of the flooring. The flooring turned out beautiful. I am very thrilled with the work done. I was very happy with the price as well.

Worked with Bill. Scheduled a measurement for a monday, but did not show and no call to let me know he couldn't make it. I had to call the company twice the next day before i got a call back from Bill and he came out the same day on Tuesday. He went over the products and the differences between each and did the measurement. He said he would calculate the numbers and to stop by the store on Saturday to go select a carpet. He would then give us a quote. I told him we were shopping around and wanted to get the quote and compare. He said go ahead and compare and get a quote, then let me know what carpet and i will match it. Come back to this point later.. We went into the store on Saturday and he went over the products and did a good job of explaining the difference between each and the technology behind each. We decided on three different products and told him we wanted a quote for each and then decide. He said he would check the inventory and price for each and give us a call. He called two days later and asked if we had decided. I told him we want a quote on all three to see how much of a difference the price is for each. So he obviously hadn't done anything to check the quote and said he would call back. He then called back the same day with the quotes and we told him we would get back to him. At this point I was a little disappointed at the service... no call for the initial appointment on Monday and then not having the quotes until we asked twice. We had ask twice both instances. We did some shopping around over the weekend and found much better prices at other retailers. Bill called on Monday to follow up and I told him we did some shopping around and found much better prices. He said its not always the price but you have to look at the warranty that we have. Well, the warranty is pretty much the same and is offered through the manufacturer, so didn't buy that. I told him i'll let him know once we decided. Talk to my wife and we decided to go with the other store since it was much less price and the quality was very similar. I wanted to ask him how we used him since he was suggesting to get quotes and come back to him to match. Would that not be using other stores to get a better price through him?? But he didn't want to listen to me and hung up. Very unprofessional way of doing business. Got a call from Bill on Tuesday to follow up and I told him we were going with the other retailer and he basically got bitter and went on to put me down and say i was using him and he worked very hard at this ( which was maybe two hours of measuring and going over the products, which everyone would do anyway to give a quote). Anyway, we were referred to Flooring 101 by our Realtor, but she specifically told us to work with Dianne Martinez as she is very good and did not recommend any other sales rep. Unfortunately she was on leave and we got Bill. I would not recommend Bill to anyone, Dianne may be much better. They do have some good products but are a little higher priced

Selection was average, pricing not clearly displayed, so I had to call somebody to clarify the prices for me. The salesperson did show me some samples, but acted as if he was in a hurry and not interested in my business. Prices are a notch above average, higher than big box stores, but lower than the heavily advertized small tile stores. Given that the store staff offered next no service, I am not sure I will ever be back. I can get similar tile for less from a big box home improvement store if I have to put up with absence of service.

Contractor did exactly what they said they would do. Very professional ser3vice.

I bought carpeting from this company about 10 years ago. I got a great price on a high quality carpet. I was very specific with the sales man on how I wanted the carpet installed and where I wanted the seams. I trusted the installers to follow my directions. They didn't. In fact, they did such a lousy job that I could put my finger through some of the seams and feel the padding. The seam tape in the master bedroom was all balled up in a lump in a couple of spots, and they didn't even finish the walk in closet. It took several days before they sent someone else to finally finish the job. I called and called and called to try to get someone to come and look at all the problems I had, was promised repeatedly that they would send someone, and, of course, nothing ever happened. I even talked directly to Ian at a home and garden show a couple of years ago, and, once again, I was reassured they would take care of the problems. Then nothing. I will never never never recommend these people or use them ever again. They do not back up their work and have no regard for their customers once they are paid. It's a shame as I had used them 2 times before and was satisfied.

Everything was great, on time and well done . Just trust your salesperson and installer.

Had the best price on our carpet of choice (but not our hardwood flooring). Instalaltion went well, but we ended up with a bifold door that wasn't properly reinstalled - it dragged on the new carpt and wouldn't open or close. Hardware piece had bene lost by theinstallers. Scott worked to find and install a replacement. It took weeeks and several visits, but in the end we got it done.

Sales representatives (Ian and Ross) were very friendly and helpful. They guided me thought the whole way and I had to change installation date on them and they accomidated me with no problem. All flooring took 2 days to install. Everything turned out beautiful. I would absolutly use them again.

Service in store helpful and friendly. THey let me take many examples home Installation was done in one day but didn't finish until late into the evening. I was not happy about them working with poor lighting late in the day. So many people on my stairs they were running into each other. The speed at which they worked had me concerned about quality of installation. The product we purchased was supposed to be very durable and we selected both for appearance and durability as we have teenagers and dogs. Ended up to be a very soft wood. we have many pocks in it from people simply walking on it. The dogs haven't been a problem, it isn't scratched it just simply seems to disintegrate if someone heavy walks on it in shoes.

Do - Go there for product selection.

The salesman with Flooring 101 was very patient with me and he was able to explain all of my options to me before I made a decision. The installation team was very good because they were able to install all the carpet in one room and a closet in about one hour which I thought was extremely fast. We did have a little conflict when it came time to move the furniture out of the room. We had different ideas of what the best method was but in the end he was able to get my dresser out of the room without damaging anything.

I would describe my experience with them as superb. They worked very hard and followed all instructions without questions. Their sales man was also excellent. They were on time and called to confirm the appointment. They cleaned up after their work was finished. They took out my washer and dryer and stove and reinstalled. They also moved moved my furniture.
