I had a few contractors come out and look at my property and give bids. I felt the most comfortable with CXC (Will) so I went with him. He made the experience much better than I expected, He was excellent to work with and his crew is the best. The guys worked so hard and all of them were a pleasure to work with. I was fully informed of every thing that was going to take place and it was just as Will said it would be (no surprises. I would highly recomed Will and his crew for any foundation or slab repairs or replacement.

The inspector was on time, and even though they use this to sell foundation repair services, there was no pressure applied. The inspector showed me pictures of what is happening under the house. The result was that he uncovered an open pipe that was leaking water under the house and it saved me from a major repair by catching it early.

I called CXC Contracting because I had noticed uneven floor in one room of the house. Will Crawford inspected the concrete slab under the floor and performed accurate measurements of the house leveling inside and outside the house. Despite the uneven floor, he concluded that the house did not need any foundation repair and that the uneven floor was caused by imperfections of the concrete.slab. He spent a lot of time in my house and provided an objective assessment of the house foundations not influenced by considerations of personal advantage. He provided unbiased recommendations about how to improve the floor leveling. I was very impressed by his professional ethics and technical knowledge. I will certainly trust Will in the future and I recommend him to anybody.

They were very efficient and the job went quickly.

The crew showed up on time on day one and went right to work. There was a lead guy and a group of four laborers. They were a class act and were well experienced in working under a house. The next day they were again on time and finished on time, as predicted. They cleaned up and left but a few remnants of their tasks. CXC made a few recommendations for shoring up another part of the house but I declined at this time. Perhaps in the future. CXC did not try to sell me on other work that needs doing and I was appreciate of this. I highly recommend this company and would us them again should he need occur.

Had a number of bids and CXC came in within our budget. They installed steel piers under our house's foundation to stop the house from moving. It's been a year since the job was completed and the house has not moved at all. I call that a success. New garage concrete floor was easy and finished nicely. The house floors where then leveled and stopped a lot of the bounce and creaking. All of it came in on time and on budget. So yes, I'd use them again.

From start to finish Will was very professional and knowledgeable about his job. The price he gave me was extremely reasonable and the time allotted for the job was just one day. I checked prices with other company and the cost of work was 3 times over the amount that Will estimated for my house. Work Day: He came early with his team. All of them very hard working people. They all did a magnificent job. Very trusted people. I did not have any problem leaving my house to them. They even took care of my cats. My house needed more work and Will did it with out charging more money. It was something that needed to be done and he did it. Thank you for the great experience as a homeowner. Everyday I come to my house I have a happy face and think about all the work that you guys did leveling the house and fixing the foundation. Is there anything worse than watching your house sink? I went through three foundation companies whose bids were unworkable before I ran across Will Crawford at CXC Contracting. After we discussed the problem he suggested a novel approach: Helical piers instead of cement piers or deeper footings to support the house. I’d never heard of it before, but after doing extensive research on helical piers (I’m a type-A with OCD), I felt confident that that was the way to go and happily the least expensive approach. Will said the entire project would take about 6 days from start to finish. It actually took 6.5 days. I was impressed. He showed up when promised. His people attacked the project with military precession. The old garage floor was gone in a day. The piers were ready to go by day three. The new garage floor was poured on day five. The house was leveled and everything finished in the next day and a half. A few minor things that were overlooked were quickly fixed with no argument and a smile after I pointed them out. In fact, he wouldn’t call the project finished until I was completely satisfied; quite a difference from the contractors I’ve used who wanted to dart off to their next job as fast as possible. My wife and I were thinking of selling the house due to the cost of the initial estimates from the other companies. Will’s approach was less expensive, stabilized the house and saved us from moving. I whole-heartedly recommend CXC Contracting to anyone needing foundation or house leveling work.
