Rob showed up on time, and finished on time. It took him 3 days to do the job. He ran a clean job, properly masked and taped the area worked on. His background in set painting was great as he perfectly matched the existing whitewash finish where it had been totally worn off in areas. He worked by himself, which we liked, as we knew we were getting his expertise. All in all, a great job and we feel like we have a new kitchen for a fraction of the price replacing everything would have cost.
Description of Work: We have a 35-year old kitchen and wanted to refinish rather than replace our kitchen cabinets. The cabinets had a whitewash finish, and it was very warn and grungy in the high use areas. Other contractors wanted to totally replace or remove and strip the cabinets for refinishing . Rob Blackwell, the owner, gave us a bid to to touch up the existing wood cabinets, clear coat the cabinets, paint the interior of all cabinets, caulk where necessary, and paint the kitchen ceiling and walls. We discussed the kinds of clear finishes available and decided to go with the more durable (and expensive) finish.
