Description of Work: Replaced three igniters for my Viking stove. I realize it is a Viking stove but it cost $200 per igniter and that was a discounted price from the Viking price repair list the service guy had. The guy replaced all three in an hour; $400 labor and $200 parts.Next time I'll consider research on You Tube to see if I can do it myself. Installation of igniters did not look difficult at all. Beyond the expensive cost all else was excellent. Use of provider in future would be a huge question mark based on fees. Otherwise the response time and professionalism was excellent.

Description of Work: We had an issue with our office refrigerator. They were able to show up within 2 hours. They quickly diagnosed the problem, gave an estimate, and then went to get the replacement part. They finished the job quickly and professionally. Would hire them again!

Description of Work: Got an in-the-house estimate for $350 to fix a bad door latch on a Maytag Neptune TL washer machine. Asked to kindly leave. Got a separate estimate for $129 from another company for the exact same work. So as to price, an F. Cannot comment on anything else, except that tech was professional and prompt.

Description of Work: My Kitchen Aid refrigerator quit making ice. I called American West to see what's going on. They sent Mike to do the job. He was on time and friendly. I thought that the ice-maker needed to be replaced. But Mike determined that there was no water coming to the ice-maker, the ice-maker itself was fine. He had the part on his truck. He replaced a water valve and now I have ice once again. The technician was honest and did not try to sell me something else and charge me more money. He provided quick, knowledgeable and friendly service.

Description of Work: Repaired my fridge. The service was great. Found the problem, went out of their way to get the right part and get it fixed ASAP. I'm happy with the job BUT don't expect to get the 30% off. I was quoted 350 to 400. I brought up the coupon and the man told me it would be 30 dollars off which suddenly made it 350 not including tax. If they are not going to honor the coupon they should just not offer it.

Unfortunately, the cost of replacement parts was very high and we decided to forgo further repair, and to buy a new unit. We were very satisfied with the professionalism of the repair man.

Description of Work: The service person, Yuri, responded the same day that I called. He was friendly and professional. My refrigerator was leaking water onto the floor. He fixed it by replacing the adaptive control board for the freezer, also defrosted the drain line. At my request, he leveled the refrig so that the door closed properly. When he finished he cleaned up, all was spotless. Definitely, a positive experience.

I looked on Angie's List for a trustworthy handyman who could get me up and running without costing me the fee of a new washing machine. Helen from American West Appliance Repair asked when I would like them to come out and diagnose the problem with my washing machine and I said "now." Lucky for me they showed up within 25 minutes of my phone call. Approximately an hour later my machine was fixed and I was back in business getting ready for my next guests. Would I use them again - you bet - and I am ready to recommend American West Appliance Repair to anyone who needs a professional repair service who are also reasonable with the repair fee.

Description of Work: Technician inspected our leaking dishwasher and messed with the door gaskets. The dishwasher stopped leaking. The technician arrived within an hour and a quarter as promised. He was clean, efficient and personable.

Description of Work: This is going to be another recommendation for American West Appliance Repair. They are prompt and courteous and all things described in other reviews. The best part is there 30% discount on labor for new customers and senior citizens and no service fee if they do repair. This is the second time I had them out to my house for a repair and both times they quickly diagnosed the problem. The technicians did have parts on hand and fixed my refrigerator and my washer right away. They were fair and reliable. I liked their immediate response and professionalism.

Description of Work: My refrigerator had cooling problems. Freezer cooling was erratic and not working properly. I found them highly recommended on a Sunday morning and within a couple of hours a repairman arrived. He worked on it for an hour to determine what the problem was and determined that it was the control board. He gave me a quote that seemed reasonable and finished up in about an hour. It was a mess due to a lot defrosting, but he cleaned up carefully as well. V good service.

They fixed our Maytag washer on July 8. Their mechanic provided quick, knowledgeable and friendly service.
