We own a Noritz tankless water heater installed in 2006. We have never had any problems with this appliance until Monday the 24th of November. On that day, while taking a shower, we had a sudden shutdown of hot water. The first time I went to garage and reset the unit which brought it back to life dispensing hot water. I called a very nice man from Angie's List who advised me that I was out of his service area but would look on the Noritz web site to give me a name of a plumber in my area. He brought Greg to my attention and mentioned that he came recommended by others. His company was not on Angie's List but because of the recommendation I called him and told him my chilly tale. He was located very close to where I live and because I like to do business with local folks he was tailor made for me. He explained that my problem was due in part because the initial installation was not done quite up to par as years ago they did not anticipate the problems of hard water in certain areas. He was able to come over the next day. A perfect deal when it comes to water heaters. He installed the missing isolation valves, cleaned the water heater by flushing the unit of accumulated gunk and with his suggestion and my good sense, installed an anti-scale filter. This now can be serviced by me every year, which sounds perfect to me. It was ideal that Greg was able to be here so quickly after my initial contact with him. He worked for 4 hours and it did a flawless and neat job.
