Description of Work: I had a huge 80-100 year old Aleppo Pine tree in my front yard that used to have a canopy that completely covered my house so that it could not be seen from Google Earth, but it became infected with some kind of worm and two arborists said that there was nothing that could be done to save it. I had 3 companies give me quotes and Evergreen's was the best and they have a license, liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance. I was not going to go with an uninsured company for a job this big. A crew of 5 men with 2 trucks and other equipment showed up at 8am on the first day and they worked until 6pm with only a 1/2 hour for lunch. The man in the tree was amazing - he would tie a limb with rope and then cut the limb with a chain saw and 1 or 2 men on the ground would pull the rope and lower the huge chunk of wood to the ground without damaging my house or bushes under the tree. They came back a second day and worked another 9 hours and then they swept all the sawdust off the roof and concrete and brick paths and raked it off the soil. They were all very hard workers and did an excellent job in a safe and efficient manner.

 + -1 moreMY OVERALL EXPERIENCE ON THE REMOVAL OF OUR BACKYARD TREE WAS BOTH A GOOD AND BAD CHOICE. THE TREE BEING REMOVED MEANT NO LEAVES TO RAKE UP, BUT IT ALSO MEANT NO SHADE WAS TO BE PROVIDED. MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THE 'EVERGREEN TREE SERVICE COMPANY' WAS VERY GOOD. THEY TRIMMED MOST OF THE BRANCHES OFF AND CLEANED UP ALL OF THE DEBRIS OFF THE GRASS.
Description of Work: JOB 1: THE WORK PERFORMED WAS TO CUT DOWN A TREE AND HAVE THE STUMP REMOVED BY MACHINE. ($520) JOB 2: THE WORK PERFORMED WAS TO TRIM SOME OF THE BRANCHES OFF OF THE TREE IN THE FRONT OF OUR HOUSE. ($320)

 + -1 moreMR. CHANG, THE OWNER, WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND SEEMED FAIR IN HIS QUOTING OF THE PRICE. HE FAXED HIS LICENSE AND BOND DOCUMENT TO ME PROMPTLY. THE WORK WAS PERFORMED EFFICIENTLY.
Description of Work: REMOVAL OF FIVE GROWN PALM TREES, NOT INCLUDING STUMPS OR HAUL AWAY OF YARD WASTES.
