At least the 11/16/15 poster got a call from the guy. I was expecting him on Friday morning: no show/no call. I thought maybe he meant Saturday: no show/no call. Total waste of my time.

I made an appointment for an estimate during my workday because the company could not offer any other times except during my work hours. I left work early, and waited 30 minutes, but the estimator did not show. After 45 minutes he finally called me, and asked if he could come by later. I'm exceptionally busy, and simply don't have time for contractors that don't keep appointments.

My impression of Mel, the owner, he was honest and fair. He told me upfront what needed to be done, offered a good and fair price for high quality work. There were no and quot;surpriseand quot; costs even though there were some complications with my concrete floor. He went out of his way to make sure the work was done well because of his high standards. I would use/recommend him anytime.

He was fantastic. It's not wood, it's actually vinyl but it looks like wood. I had him do three rooms; he did a living room, kitchen and a bedroom. The places don't even look like it's the same place. They did such a good job on it looks wonderful. It was a good price and it was cheaper than most of the others that I had gotten. I would recommend him without a question.

The individual service providers were key and very good.

The installation went very well, and they did a good job.

I phoned and spoke with a rep who guided me through the entire process, start to finish. It was a bit tricky as I live out of town and had to do everything over the phone. But they were really helpful and sent samples to me in the mail. Once I made the selection, they scheduled the installation date, and did the work on that date as planned. So they completed on time. One thing I asked them to do was to save a 12" x 12" square of the old carpet so that I can get it replaced at some point in the future, and I wanted to save a sample. They were to leave it on the mantle in the living room. After the work was completed, my agent said there was no sample on the mantle. So I phoned the sales person and she found out what happened. They read it as 12 foot x 12 foot square, which they had left for me in the garage! But they remedied it right away and picked up the remaining carpet to dispose of it after my guy had to cut a square out. I appreciated the way they handled it. Overall I would use them again.

Picked out the carpet at their show room. The sales rep,Cid, was helpful, and patient. I was on a tight deadline as I wanted the carpet installed before I moved in. Cid called multiple warehouses to locate carpet that would be available. The installers were prompt, cleaned up after themselves and hauled away the old carpet and pad.

Great service and price, from start to finish. Would use again in an instant.

We called about 15 floor companies and none of them knew how to install Marmoleum with the welded seams, so Mel got the job by default. And we're THRILLED that he did. Mel is a true craftsman. He insisted on installing the subfloor himself to ensure that the Marmoleum would be completely smooth - no dimples, no lines where the plywood joined underneath, etc. He made amazingly accurate and detailed cuts around our old door molding, was able to run the flooring with a minimum of seams, and welded the flooring together so that you can barely see the joins. He and his crew were professional, friendly, courteous and left the job site immaculately clean. We would recommend Mel without reservation.
