Although the water heater is more than 10 years old, Joe found a replacement part costing $40 and determined that there is no apparent reason to replace the water heater at this point, saving us a few hundred dollars.

Description of Work: Replaced portions of the inside of 4 toilets to stop valve leaks, replaced |faucet cartridges on sinks to stop leaks, increased hot water faucet flow |on a sink and fixed sink stopper which holds water in sink or allows water to drain. Joe was very prompt in performing and completing the work.

Description of Work: My kitchen sink plumbing started spewing water on Christmas day. The day after Christmas I started calling around for a plumber to fix the leak. After going through the list of plumbers from Angie's List I found Joe Gray. He responded quickly and was at my house working on the issue within a couple of hours. He found the problem was the garbage disposal, showed me where it had been damaged when installed 10 years ago, and replaced the unit and re-connected the drain pipe. Everything works fine now. I really appreciate the quick response time especially on the day after Christmas.

He did a great job of explaining exactly what the issues were and what needed to be done. He spent quite a bit of time making sure the job was done right, including removing and re-sealing the toilet, and replaced all of the inside parts. I was very impressed with his quality of work and full interest in taking care of his customers. Thank you again, Adam!

Did the job right the first time, we have had no problems. I'm so glad we found a plumber who is skilled and professional. We will definitely call Mr. Gray the next time we have a plumbing issue.
Description of Work: Replaced a faucett and re-worked old, leaky, plumbing under the sink, which had not been done properly by previous home owner. Let us know what the problem was with the leak in the bath tub/spa; and how to correct it.

Description of Work: A cup was stuck in the drain just above the garbage disposal motor propellers. The plumber came within 2 hours after I called, unhooked the garbage disposal, removed the plastic cup, and reinstalled the device all within 30 minutes of arriving. A prompt and quality job done.

You've got to be prepared to pay a little bit more. But it's ( inaudible 04:44:1 to 4:49:8). You know it's going to be done right and it's going to be done that day.
Description of Work: I've used Joe Gray's Plumbing twice now. Last week was to distract our rusted washer from the ( inaudible 3:53:9). And then he came out to replace a hose pipe that was leaking. He also tightened the sink up - there was a loose valve.

+ -1 moreJoe was very nice, he works quick and neat. He explained everything to me first, including the possible outcomes (like having to change the entire controler). He took the controler apart and tried the seals first. Everything came apart easily and he fixed it with the seals. He finished in less than half an hour. My control to my shower no longer leaks.
Description of Work: Joe removed the shower/tub handle changed the seals. He then put everything back together again.

+ -1 moreHe was easy to get a hold of, he called my renter (as did I) to setup a time to replace the faucet, came and fixed it quickly and then we talked the next day and I paid for services. What was very nice too was that my rental is aprox 1.5hrs from me. I didn't have to go over to the rental house or his office, we did all of our business over the phone.

He even called me to let me know that he left a voicemail for my tenant to come by and look at the hot water issue, but did not hear back. I called my tenant they were able to connect and finish the repair the next day.
Description of Work: We had a minor plumbing issue that prevented us from using the hot water in a guest bathroom. The house is only 3 years old, and Joe almost diagnosed a valve issue over the phone. Sure enough, it was exactly as he stated. There is a valve that senses pressure (senses when the toilet is flushed) to avoid scalding. It was defective (due to hard water deposits) and is easily replaced. He recommended the necessary fix, and did not do more than we needed to get the hot water flowing. My tenant is very happy now.
