As stated above, the technician spent over an hour trying to determine what might be causing the funny noise my washing machine was making. He started to hear the noise, but then it quickly went away, so he was unable to figure it out. He called Whirlpool to see if they were able to figure out the problem. They too, were unable to come up with a solution. The technician gave us his business phone number and told us to contact him if it happens again. We were very satisfied with his efforts.
Description of Work: A technician from Oak Valley Appliance came out to determine why my Whirlpool washing machine was making a funny noise at the beginning of the cycle. He went through the entire machine from top to bottom. He was unable to completely figure out what the source of the problem was, however, he did offer some suggestions, and reminded us to contact him if it happens again. Very, very professional.

They came first time was very punctual and checked washer and explained door was loose and needed to repair front panel of washer. Said they would order then panel and would take 1-2 weeks to get. They said they would call when panel came in. Got call saying panel was in and could come and replace same day between 10-2 explained that had school at 3 so needed to be done by then told me that was not a problem and would be at my home with plenty of time for them to replace. I received an message stating driver would be at my home within 5 min and they were. Super friendly tech who explained everything he was doing. When done he showed me what he replaced and ran a rinse cycle to show no leaks. Also informed me if have any other issues that are contracted with Samsung and I can call them directly to make a claim do not need to call Samsung first. I am so pleased with the professionalis and courteousness all staff where that I dealt with from the person answering calls and scheduling to the techs that came out to do the repair. I will definetely use them if ever needed again and highly recommend to anyone that needs repairs. My parents had issues a few years back with their refrigerator and used another company and it took months to get issue solved. It was very stressful for them. This process was so easy and quick made things pleasant for me. Thank you to oak valley for such amazing work and making this issue as easy and quick as you could.

Great business, They have came out to my house twice, The technician is fast and honest .. Had my fridge up and running with in 24 hours . had to order parts and they were here the next day and installed. The company is fast and calls to keep u informed when the technician will be there. Whirlpool could not have sent me a better company.. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY ! will use them again... cost 0 my fridge was under warrenty from whirlpool..

The office staff who scheduled our appointment was courteous and helpfully explained their service procedures. We had to reschedule the initial appointment due to a delay in the parts that had been ordered but, they monitored the parts arrival and called when the parts arrived. Appointment was scheduled within two days. Our technician, Jeremy, was personable and professional. He worked efficiently and included time to explain the repair along with possible causes. Parts were brought to the site (instead of making the initial call and then ordering parts) demonstrating knowledgeability of the product and that appropriate research on the issue had been done prior to our service call. We will consider using their service should it be needed in the future or with other appliances.
Description of Work: Diagnose and repair an electronic ticking in a professional grade cooktop.

Great business! I contacted my warranty service company, on a Monday, regarding an issue I was having with my refrigerator and they assigned Oak Valley Appliance. I was told that the soonest someone could come out was on Thursday, which wasn't too big of a deal. Within a few hours of scheduling the appointment, I received a call from Oak Valley Appliance confirming my appointment and telling me they could come out the next day on Tuesday, if I had availability, rather than waiting until Thursday. Technician Jeremy showed up at my door on Tuesday, as scheduled. I explained to Jeremy the problem and he began his inspection. Jeremy was very thorough. He discovered the problem, explained it to me in simple terms and called to order the parts. He said he would be able to get the parts and have them installed by the end of the week. Within a day of Jeremy ordering the parts, on Wednesday, Oak Valley Appliance called to let me know they had received the parts and set up an appointment for installation. Thursday morning, as scheduled, Jeremy was back at my house to install the parts. Since the installation, of the new parts, I haven't had any issues. I can't say enough great things about this company. I definitely recommend them to anyone with appliance issues as they are prompt, courteous, professional and thorough!

They showed up an hour early, left a note and went home. Dave, the rude man and presumably the technician offered only excuses about why he only try to show up to his job at the correct time. I am very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and the fact that I still have an oven that is unsafe in my kitchen. I wouldn't recommend this company unless you are unemployed and can spend your day waiting for a repairman that will try to show up. Although, I really don't think I would want him to try and fix anything, considering he can't even tell time.
Description of Work: The provider showed up an hour before their scheduled service time. When I called them back about their leaving, they rudely informed me that the best they could do was try to make it during their scheduled time slot. I have no idea if they are competent at their job, but I do know that they are completely incompetent when it comes to customer service.

She is very right, we didn't not show up at 4:00pm, The appointment was set for the afternoon. Please everyone, understand.... we have no way of knowing how long our route will take. Should someone cancel a call, things get moved up an hour, should someone want us to look at additional appliances while at their home, everyone is then moved back an hour. We try and accommodate at much as we can, but we don't make set appointments or offer specific times for anyone for this reason. No exceptions. We did explain we'd try and make the visit after 4pm if we could and she understood there was no promises. We suggested a friend, neighbor to meet us, even her property management company and the owner of the house. I even talked to her neighbor next door to work something out. Long and the short, we tried again and failed but did finally meet up, she let us in and we are currently awaiting authorization from the warranty company and will go from there. We do offer night before reminders and we do pre-calls to the customer before we arrive. You can also track our tech's online from our website to better assist in knowing an approximate time of arrival. My explanation of not waiting around was it's a 1.25 hour drive back to the office, as she lives in an area that doesn't have many or any other servicers willing to drive that distance. We do, but there needs to be a little wiggle room here on times and travel. We are servicing this area because we've been asked many times by many people who are just so grateful for us driving so far. Sorry you don't see it that same way. My apologies. As far as rudeness, I think our 30+ years speaks for itself and I don't take offence to that remark as I know you were more than likely just frustrated.

We called Oak Valley and explained the noise the refrigerator was making. We were told that the repairman comes out to our area on Tuesdays and Fridays. We scheduled an appointment, which turned out to be the next day. While waiting for the repairman, we got a recorded call from Oak Valley explaining that the technician had just finished the prior service request and we would have that person here shortly. The recording also gave the name of the repairman, which was Jeremy. Once Jeremy came here wearing a shirt with the company name and his name on it, we showed him the refrigerator. We told him what we were hearing and what we thought it might be. Jeremy also stated what it could be. He opened the inside of the freezer where the noise was coming from and checked to see that everything was working. He did find that the problem was the back of the freezer, which we watched him promptly fixed. He explained to us what the problem was. He then handed us his business card, and said that if we had further problems to call Oak Valley. Jeremy was extremely knowledgeable, and was very well groomed, wearing a clean uniform. I would recommend Oak Valley to anyone that needs appliance repair.
Description of Work: We called them due to our refrigerator making noise like rocks in a blender. The refrigerator was just over one month old, so it was under warranty. We got the company's name and number from the refrigerator manufacturer.
