Description of Work: Royal Oak was great! I had floors installed in my entry and living room. They were on time or even early each day! The floors were completed in the time that was quoted. I did have to pay a little more than the original quote because when the carpet was removed, there was tile underneath that was unexpected. I would definitely recommend them and have already passed on their information to a friend!

Description of Work: Royal Oak sanded and refinished all of our hardwood flooring. Their work was outstanding, and my floors look absolutely beautiful. Shawn is great to work with, and his recommendations were excellent. His team was punctual, efficient, and very skilled. Great job! I would highly recommend Royal Oak.

Description of Work: I had some damage to my downstairs wood floors that I didn't believe could be sanded. The owner promised me that HE COULD. I didn't have to replace my floors and saved half of what I would have paid. I am very pleased at the result and would highly recommend Royal Oak. They certainly passed my test with flying colors! Great communication, honesty and reliability.

Description of Work: This is why we pay for Angie's List, to find people like Beau Pillar. I used to work in remodeling, and Royal Oak is the best flooring I have come across. But more than that, they are one of the best companies of any kind that I have worked with. I recently bout a hundred year old farm house where the original floors had been covered up with a combination of carpet and engineered wood flooring. What I found underneath was the original, hundred year old Douglas fir flooring. it was in terrible shape, most guys would have told be me to trash it, Beau just said no problem. Top notch in both professionalism and craftsmanship, look no further.

Description of Work: Shawn Pillar continues in his fathers footsteps as the best worker I've ever had in my home. Shawn has opened a Northern Calif branch of Royal Oaks and is just as responsible as his father, Beau, appears to be from other Angie's list comments. Shawn and Jose were both professional, dedicated and hard working but also fun to be around, which is important when they are in your house everyday for 2 weeks. I had my entire house refloored with bamboo hardwood and it looks beautiful! They have come back numerous times to make sure that the work is perfect even after they were paid. Shawn still stops by to work on the "glue problem" that seems to atach to my second floor for some unknown reason, but takes him hours of difficult and boring work to get off. I could not recommend Royal Oak any higher.

Description of Work: Sean came at our request to inspect our floors for wear and damage. Other providers had recommended some work, but Sean actually convinced us that it was best to hold off for a few years. He was very honest and very clear in his explanations, and at the end helped us find the best outcome even though it meant no business for him.
