I originally contacted Regal Construction late summer and received an estimate from Sean. Even though I had received estimates from several other companies, I decided to have the remodel done by Regal. His price was reasonable in comparison to the other estimates. The primary deciding factor was the experience before committing to hire Regal. After receiving the estimate I called Sean several times with additional questions. His willingness to answer any question I had gave me a feeling of confidence that he would listen to what I wanted in doing the project. But I had to put the project on hold at that time due to some unexpected circumstances. I re-contacted Sean earlier this month to see if I could get the bathroom done before my visitors arrived for Christmas. He committed to completing the project within the timeline I had. The project was completed in a week and very well done. I was present throughout the project and asked the workers questions about what they were doing. They showed the same willingness to answer questions as Sean did. I was very impressed with the workers' diligence and commitment to high quality work. Periodically I would observe them and noticed how they attended to the small details. I also interacted with Cindy throughout the project. She was always very pleasant and helpful. She was instrumental in helping me with tile selection and was involved in much of the coordination of different steps in the process. The B for responsiveness is related to a couple of times that Sean took a while to get back to me, but it did not negatively impact completion of the project or my overall satisfaction with Regal.

I did talk to them and they provided me with an estimate. I was not ready to do any work and I would call them at the end of this year to further discuss the project. The 3D drawing was presented after I had to call him a couple of times for that. He was fine, professional and gave me a great detailed estimate with that I wanted. His office called me back after I received the 3D drawing and did a follow ups.

Scheduling and meeting for the appointment went very well. Follow up was great. Employee I met with was very friendly and courteous. The 3D model was a little basic, but for $50, that's to be expected. I'm sure that you can get the same type of service without the 3D model for free (simply an estimate), but I'm a visual person, so I preferred to have something to go by.

We initially purchased a Big Deal offer to have Regal prepare some designs for remodeling two bathrooms. They made a favorable impression so we hired them for the job. We were very happy with them, and we would hire them again in the future. They were very professional and careful, doing things the right way without cutting corners. They were responsive throughout the construction process, quickly getting back to us whenever we called or texted them. The finished product looks great. The project took longer than predicted and went way over budget, but that was mostly due to a change order on our part (switching from pre-fab vanities to custom-built vanities) and due to unforeseen difficulties (water damage from previous plumbing leaks, and poorly done DIY electrical work by a previous owner). Hiring Regal is probably not going to be the cheapest option, because of their desire to do things correctly without shortcuts. Although that makes the project more expensive in the short term, it saves money in the long term. When the project began, Regal worked diligently every day, without any dead time. They did not pull their workers away to work on other jobs during our project, as we have sometimes experienced with other contractors. The pace slowed down at the very end of the project - the last one percent of work took a few weeks to complete. But that was not a big deal because the bathrooms were already functional at that point.

The work looks amazing, we had many challenges a long the way and Sean worked well with my picky taste and helped me in so many aspects to get through the process I.e. picking tile, appliance and fixtures that would work with our style. Everything turned out better then a magazine! I never thought we would find a company that really walks you through the work and keeps up good communication on a daily basis. I'm more then satisfied with this company and highly recommend them!

We had our kitchen redone, ceiling lifted, new cabinets, more storage, new appliances, canned lights.

I really wanted to go with him but the only problem was I had to use their architect and I wanted to use my own. I liked his ideas and could possibly use them in the future.

We were looking at several different service providers and will end up going with another one. I have tried to contact this service provider several times to get the blueprints back and have yet to get a hold of him. I contacted him about a month ago without a response, I attempted to contact him several times before without response. They did claim that they were going to send us the blueprints however we have not received them yet, that was about three weeks ago.

Sean was very professional and punctual. Discussed out options with us for cabinets, lighting, countertops, and flooring. Very friendly and courteous. Showed us samples of countertops. Gave us a ballpark figure of cost and duration of kitchen remodel. Will draw up design and bring back to show us 3D design on his computer. We were very impressed.

The session was fine, but it took a while to get the design emailed from the company. I had to call them twice.

We haven't gotten started yet.

Regal was very prompt in responding to our purchase and scheduling a visit to see our house in order to provide the estimate and the 3D renderings. We were pleased with their professionalism and we ultimately hired them for our remodeling project. In retrospect, however, I am not sure whether the $55 was money well spent. Regal would have provided an estimate for free, and the 3D renderings did not really add much. I would recommend Regal for remodeling work, but I would suggest skipping this "big deal" and just asking them for a free estimate.

The rep came and performed all the measurements. We wanted designs for our kitchen and two bathrooms. He mentioned that his desire is to do the actual remodel, which is where he would make his money. He returned with some of the designs but it was clear he was not fully prepared. We provided additional suggestions and he was going to come back again with revised designs. We never heard back from him, nor did he return our calls. Perhaps I should not have told him we were not ready to do the actual construction. At least he never asked for payment.

All of the work went well and on time. I picked Sean because he had exactly the tile pattern I wanted for my floors. His tile workers are very experienced and do wonderful work. The tile floors are so pretty and go with everything. My kitchen looks new and the shower looks great. His workers are polite and were a pleasure to have around for the two weeks of work. They cleaned the work area daily. Throughout the job the workers would ask for my input and not just do what they thought best. I highly recommend regal construction.

I purchased a big deal from them but could not use it becasue of scheduling.

Sean and his crew did beautiful custom work. We upgraded the granite and sink which was totally our choice. The price for upgrading was very good and the quality of the granite and sink are outstanding. The fit and finish is superb. We have a very beautiful kitchen with granite that truly stands out. Thanks to Sean and Regal we have a kitchen we are very proud of.

The service turned out okay. I had to call a few times to follow up. I called and set up an appointment to have their design consultant to come by my house, just to give a design for the kitchen. I set up an appointment and the gentleman came in my house. He was on time and everything was fine. He took some information from me and we discussed the project. I was told, the following week I would receive the design and even after a week and a half later, I didn't receive anything. I called their office and they said the designer guy was out of town, he would be back in town that week. They said they would send the design. A week later, I still didn't receive it. It took me over three weeks to get the design, which I was originally told that it would just take a few days. There was at least one instance after that where they told me that I would have it in three more days and it wasn't until two weeks after that. Even I liked the design and they did what I asked for, they just didn't seem to take their delivery date commitment seriously. I felt how could I hire a contractor when they would be working in my kitchen and I would have just one room to live in where they would not take their commitment seriously. It might take longer to finish the work than they would say. I felt that they might give low priorities to these big deal jobs compared to where a customer would be paying thousand of dollars. The office manager was cool and apologized for the delay as the guy was out of the country. They made the changes as I requested and told me about the extra charges for the work, so I just went with my big deal purchase and nothing extra.

As a rule of thumb prior to any work I have done, I get three (3) estimates to establish the best vendor and price points for the job. I have yet to green light the project, but will give Regal a fair shot at winning the bid.

Regal Construction & Remodeling Inc was a switch and bait if I've ever run into one. They said they would do 50 square feet of counters for $2,100. I called them out before I bought the coupon to see how many square feet I had and how much additional it would be. He came out and said I had 65 square feet. I decided to do up the wall too so with the wall it as 95 square feet. He said there were 8 samples but there were 4 which were horrible and didn't even look like granite. It looked like the white and black spotted Formica. If I wanted to upgrade to the St. Cecilia it would be $100 more. I know what that looks like and it is very pretty. He came up with, after doing all the math, $11,000 for a very small kitchen. When I asked questions he was very evasive. Finally I just said goodbye because it was just silliness. He came right out so his punctuality was excellent.

I purchased the kitchen remodel certificate ( plan and estimate). The Regal estimator was very friendly and professional. My only concern was that he asked me if I was serious about remodeling my kitchen a short time after he came in. During our conversation he told me that the cost of a kitchen like ours was going to be around $35-40 thousand dollars. After the consultation, I asked for a set of prints and had trouble getting them, I gave a different e-mail and I did received an e-mail version that did nor included the measurements and dimensions of the cabinets and the room. The final estimate did come around the figures given, which was more than I could afford, since I needed to have my roof redone also. I was interested in a re-roof estimate at a later date and had an emergency and had to travel out of State, I had the roof done by another company that unfortunately didn't do a good job. The office administrator was very friendly and professional and did try to send me the prints. I don't know the quality of the service of Regal since I did not have them do the kitchen. By the reviews in Angie's, it seems they do a good job. I gave my review over the phone and it was not until a few days ago 12/2013 that I read the review and response. This is my honest experience with Regal and since I did not get the work done, after much though, I'm changing my review since I don't have enough experience with their work to give a good or bad review.

We had our kitchen out of commission for 8 days but it was worth it in the end as the countertops and back splash tile was beautifully done. The communication could have been a bit better, but I believe this was due to the coupon deal being offered at this time. Probably too many jobs at once!!

Everything went very well. I had interviewed one other contractor and they came in a little higher. I decided to go with REgal because they seemed more professional and gave me a good deal. My instincts were correct. The entire crew was professional and worked in a timely manner. The job took 5 weeks all together which is what I was told to expect. The owner referred me to an appliance dealer and I got contractor prices thanks to them. Never have I had a contractor that wanted to save me time and money like this guy did. He made the process smooth and painless. Being without a kitchen for 5 weeks is difficult but when all was done it was well worth it. My kitchen now looks beautiful and we can entertain again!

When we were ready to have our kitchen remodeled after 30 years. We went on Angie list to review comments on contractors and to set up appointments for estimates. Regal Constructions was our second estimates. When we meet with Sean Aichel he explained everything that would be done to give us our dream kitchen. When we decided to go with Regal everything was given to us in writing from ordering our cabinets, demolishing the kitchen, electrical, plumbing, flooring and completion by a certain date. All of Regal workers are very hard workers and always cleaned up at the end of each day, we were very pleased with there work. They demolished my kitchen, then we needed additional plumbing work done. They also reinforced our foundation and installed a new support beam in the ceiling. All new electrical and reset lighting was installed. For our flooring my husband wanted tile and I wanted hardwood flooring. We had porcelain tile installed which is tile but looks like hardwood our floor looks so beautiful. We recommend porcelain tile to any one that wants to install hardwood. When they installed our cabinets they also installed a beautiful backsplash and installed all our new appliances. Sean was over every few days to check on the progress of his workers and to make sure we were happy with each completed job. We highly recommend Sean Aichel and Regal Construction & Remodeling for any work you need done on your home. We how have our dream kitchen. Thank You Sean and Regal Robert and Gloria Rojas

They came out the first time and were very friendly and prompt. When they came back the second time, we were expecting the designs but they only brought a computer and spent 2 1/2 hours playing with it, gave us an option of a $90,000 renovation and left. A few weeks ago, I got a call from their office asking whether we wanted to do the remodel and I asked about the drawings we were supposed to receive. I was given the excuse that their computer was down and I haven't heard from them since.
