After placing the order for this service, I was notified very promptly that I was out of their service area. Everyone was very courteous.

It went great, their customer service guy was great and really informative, I will be calling them shortly to get more options and move forward on getting our home remodeled!

They really worked with me on what I wanted to do and the changes I wanted to make for my bathroom. They were also very good about following up.

Sean's crew showed up everyday by 7:30 am and worked all day without fail. They even worked on Saturday when necessary. The job was well organized preventing delays between electricians, plumbers, flooring, etc. The job even finished about 1 week early. I can't say enough about both Sean and his crew. They were professional, on time, neat and hard working. When I needed to reach Sean, he would respond timely and would also come to the job site at least 2 to 3 times a week to check on everything. My home looks more beautiful that I had even imagined and I highly recommend Regal Construction and Remodeling.

Very nice people. There were some scheduling snafus but most likely confusion related to staff illness. When we met, he was very thorough and gathered our "ask" and a few days later sent about 9 images from different vantage points. Very nice.

We are very demanding customers, who always look for the best quality, but, at a reasonable cost. We have been through various construction scenarios in the past and unfortunately, on a few projects, did not feel that we got fair value. That was not the case with Regal Construction. At this end of the process we are very happy, convinced that we got great workmanship, at a fair price. I could go on, and on about the standard things like showing up on time everyday, protecting the rest of the house from dust and other elements, cleaning up at the end of every day, and blah, blah, blah... That's all cool, but as anybody with any construction experience knows, the real test of a contractors skill and value can be more aptly judged by how they respond after they open the walls. The way that Sean and Manny and his crew solved the newly apparent problems is what put them on my all-star team. They are every bit as smart as they are creative. They were very patient with us and accommodating through the entire process. They were outstanding! They paid attention to every little detail. They did not hesitate to chose the most effective remedy to the problems they found, even when it cost them more in time and money. You have got to be impressed with people who insist on doing the job right, even when it cost them more. The work is beautiful, and, even after six months, feels brand new.

I had purchased an Angie's Deal for a rendering of my kitchen. It was actually my fault that I expected more of an interior design suggestion than what they were offering. Based on my meeting the owner I went ahead and hired his company for work but gave an "D" grade for the deal. When they found out, they promptly refunded the payment. I give them an A for satisfaction and pride in their work. I intend to use them again in the future.

My meeting with Sean to discuss my project went well. He was professional and scheduled an appointment right away. I generally liked his feedback about the space and the job I was considering. Based on that, I wouldn't discourage anyone from contacting them about doing a job - - just save yourself the $39 for a 3D rendering - it's a waste. Following my initial meeting, weeks went by before I heard from the company again, and in their defense, when I did hear from them they explained there had been a family emergency. However, the rendering I received was disappointing. I ended up going to Home Depot with some measurements of my own and walked out with a 3D rendering for free that was more in line with what I was looking for. I understand companies offer a deal to get better promotion on Angie's List, but sometimes I think it backfires. Regal has many great reviews from big projects they've done and even though I went in another direction, I was generally impressed with Sean. Just skip the rendering deal as part of the process.

They came, i explained what I was interested in doing. He said he would have a design for me by Monday. When Monday came and went, I called the office and was told that they had an emergency but would get it to me in a few days. It has been two weeks and they have not sent any design or called to explain why. The only time I have spoken with the office was when I called.

The rendering was a little simplified, but that aspect of the Deal was less important to me. I was impressed when they came out because he pointed out several considerations I had not thought of, and he made some good recommendations. I moved forward with using them for several other projects.

So far it looks great. I had purchased a Big Deal for a consultation, and I also had them replace my old drainage pipes. Highly recommended!

The man who called on us didn't know why he was hear because he said so. All we bought was a 3D rendering for $39.00 and he pushed to sell us a new kitchen. After he left I saw that the Angie's List monthly publication for Los Angeles had the same offer for free in Regal's full page ad. I want the money returned.

Project completed on time and on budget.

Clearly, this service is a little sales pitch technique to get a foot in the door, do an estimate but not really for free, and meet new clients. As far as that goes, I really enjoyed meeting the rep who came and hearing what he had to say about my kitchen. He seemed incredibly experienced and knowledgeable, and I would trust him to do this work. However, the 3D rendering that I paid for was a bit mediocre. It didn't really give me a true idea of what was possible. It wasn't actually 100% accurate in terms of measurements. But meeting the vendor was worthwhile, and I think this service is a great idea to get their foot in the door. I'm definitely planning on meeting with them again and will totally consider them to do our remodel. So rather than get the 3D rendering done, I would recommend just asking for a free estimate!

The service turned out good. He was punctual, very polite, and he gave us a written estimate. He is pricey. I think he has a great company, and it sounds like he does great work, but I don't think we can afford him. I was expecting more originality for design. I had better ideas than what he put down on paper, but I have no doubt that he would do a good job, if we used him. What I paid for, was for him to come out and give me an estimate, which most people will come and give me an estimate for free. I was paying for ideas for my bathroom, and I didn't get any from him. I wanted some design ideas, for the back wall and my bathroom, and it was just basic. He sent me pictures of a bathroom that he did and had a similar layout as mine, but it didn't make me go ''ooooh'' and ''aaaah''. He did what he said he was going to do, but there wasn't anything special about the design, and that is why I paid 39 Dollars. He was punctual, very polite, and gave us a good written estimate.

The bathroom design was okay, he never gave a 3d design though, he just gave me an estimate.

Sean and his team worked hard every day for 2 weeks to ensure that they completed the job in the agreed upon time frame. Regal Construction was not the lowest priced estimate that we received, but they seemed professional and offered to get the remodel done in half the time as other estimates. There were about $500 of unanticipated costs, which annoyed me at first, during a remodel, you have to expect some unforeseen costs so I became okay with it. I feel like the quality of service that they provided was very good as well. My only true complaint is that Sean could not be there in person the first day when his team arrived. Since they did not speak very good English, there were a few things that they did incorrectly. For example, I asked them to keep the existing closet doors and they threw them out. They also demoed the tile in the closet (which was not included in the estimate) and I had to purchase additional tile to re-tile the closet area. These could have been avoided had Sean been there or had his team spoken better English. However, overall, both my husband and I were pleased with a job well done.

We did, however choose another company for the job.

Replaced the old wood floor with travertine tile in dining room, kitchen, and entryway.

They did a very nice job in my kitchen, but I had mentioned to the contractor that I was not really happy with some of the guys he sent out. They did good work, but they were not pleasant people. I mentioned to one of the workers that something did not look straight after he finished working on it he was not exactly happy with my critique. A couple of the workers had what I consider to be attitude problems. I am not a real picky person but if I saw something that was not straight or something I would point it out and they would tell me that it did not need to be straightened out. Then they would measure it and tell me I was right. To me that created kind of a stressful situation for me.

Working on a fairly tight budget, we had a wishlist that included replacing our old beat up carpet with a nice new hardwood floor; replacing our old grungy kitchen counter and adding an island. We assumed that there were going to have to be sacrifices. Sean came promptly and didn't just offer ways of doing our floor but also offered excellent ideas on how to stretch our budget and still have something classy. We installed bamboo floors, added the island and was still able to install a quartz counter in the kitchen. It pushed our budget right to the edge, but it was well, well worth it! I now have a beautiful kitchen! As I said before, Sean was prompt for every meeting, offered a realistic timetable for the work and his team stuck to it. If I would offer any constructive criticism, there were days when his team could have been a little better at cleaning up behind themselves, but that is a very small complaint out of all the compliments I can give. I would work with Regal for any future projects.

We started by purchasing an Angie's List "Big Deal" 3-D design of our new kitchen. We weren't looking to do a remodel right away, but we immediately got a good feeling from Sean, the owner of Regal. He was very down-to-earth and accommodating, and provided a number of useful ideas to improve the kitchen and also save us money. We went with a semi-custom kitchen to keep costs down. The day construction started, workers were here on time and finished the demolition rather quickly. Ours was an older kitchen that hadn't been updated in several decades. As you might expect, they encountered some setbacks during construction, specifically electrical wiring that was dangerously out of date and not to code, and water leaking from upstairs that had caused black mold and had worn through an A/C vent. Work had to stop while the remediation took place. Termites were also discovered. That set work back about 1-2 weeks and increased the cost unexpectedly, but that wasn't Regal's fault. Once the remediation was done, work resumed and was completed in relatively quick order. Sean worked with us when there was miscommunication over the size of the kitchen sink and again was accommodating. He also accommodated us when we decided to change countertops after they had already been installed. All in all, working with Regal was easy, and Sean and his crew were friendly and professional. We would definitely use them again on our next remodel project.
