Local Service Pro Plumbing

My garbage disposal stopped working and I requested a few quotes. Local Service Pro responded quickly and had someone out the same day for a free diagnostic. Excellent communication, technician arrived on time, etc. The problem ended up being so simple that it was fixed in the diagnostic process - as the technician was trying to diagnose the problem, it was fixed. The technician was very knowledgable and gave us some tips on how to prevent this from happening again. The issue is that I was never given a heads up how much the repair was going to cost because the it was such a simple fix, and after he left I received a bill for the minimum amount for a service visit - $150. I understand that the technician needs to be paid for his time, and there are overhead costs associated with running a plumbing business, but it kind of left a bad taste in my mouth when the free diagnostic turned into a $150 'repair' - esp when it was such a basic fix that took 5 minutes. This was partially my fault - I should have checked youtube first before calling a plumber. Anyway, I would still recommend their services but I'd keep in mind that the "free diagnostic" might be misleading.

This is by far the worst company we've ever hired to come work on our home. We had an emergency plumbing situation and were bound by the fact that this company was the only one we could find to come out. We called and spoke with someone at 6:30 and were told that Jesus would be at our house by 9:30. At 9:30 he told us he wouldn't be here til 10. At 10 he said he was 15 minutes away. At 10:30 he said he would be here at 11. Finally, after 11 he showed up and claimed there was a traffic accident. He took a look at our plumbing and just gave us an estimate. Afterward, we set up an appointment for the following Tuesday to fix everything. I work from home and my husband works out of town so we trusted that Jesus would be by the estimated window of 11am-1pm. From 1-4 we began to receive the exact text we had received the first night. "I'm 15 away." "I'm 10 away" with a new excuse "oh my car battery died." by 4:30 we were forced to cancel the appointment and requested that for the next day we would need a new technician since we no longer felt comfortable having Jesus come to our home. The following day arrive and 2 hours before our window we were told by management that Jesus was the only technician available despite the promises that they made. Did they not know that no one else was available on our previous call just 16 hours prior? They didn't have a schedule in front of them when they guaranteed us a new technician? We did not feel comfortable with this tech but felt like we were in between a rock and hard place since we hadnt had hot water in 4 days. Jesus arrived while my husband wasnt home. He was smirking as he arrived and got out of his car he asked me "what are you mad at me?" and proceeded to laugh when I said we just need to get this job done and we have waited a long time. I felt immediately uncomfortable, something that I had wanted to avoid. Overall, just a terrible experience we were forced into due to the unfortunate circumstances. Do not go with this company unless you want to have multiple missed appointments and creepy people at your house.

GREAT service! We used LSP to inspect the sewer lines of a house we were in escrow on. Oscar did the camera inspection and helped us find issues with the house that would have cost us a fortune. Now we are using them again on our next house. Highly recommend!

Repair was completed more quickly than they estimated and faster than I expected. Workers were professional and experienced.

The work was done in a few hours and everything works great! I would refer LSP to anyone that requires plumbing services and they are now part of our contact for plumbing for our other homes.
