JB HARDWOOD FLOORS

Due to allergies and asthma we had to remove all carpeting in the house. There was carpeting only in the bedrooms but it became a serious health hazard for my husband. Yehudah Benamou came to our home (built in 1932) and saw that we had nice hardwood in the halls, dining area and living room area. He then lifted up the carpeting in the four bedrooms and found that one of them just had a concrete slab underneath, one had linoleum with hardwood floors under it and the other two had hardwood floors. He was very honest about telling us that while he would try, he may not be able to re-finish the room that had the linoleum. He kept us posted on the progress of the project and, sure enough, he couldn't save that floor. We ended up having to install new floors in two bedrooms (the one with the concrete and the one with the linoleum). Yehudah gave us a very fair price and got the work done beautifully, and efficiently. He added moldings around the edges of the walls and made certain that the gold strips where different kinds of flooring were joined (bathroom, hallway, etc.) were done very evenly so that no one would trip over it. Our newly re-done wood floors have definitely improved my family's health and they look beautiful.
