Parking is limited, but once inside the store you are met by friendly employees, a couple of which are family I would guess. The estimate of time and price were accurate and the job done to my satisfaction.

The lamp wasn't working. Not it does. I've been using Hye Lighting for over ten years, and I always go to them for repairs.

Found this company and had them fix a broken lamp I got at a yardsale. They were able to able to fix the lamp for a price that wasn't triple what I paid it. Very respectable business, its not often that I hear of someone needing to repair a lamp but if I do I'll turn them to these guys.

I took an antique lamp in for repair and was given a reasonable estimate, approx. $80 plus to be determined cost of stained glass panels. I was told they would call me when they found the glass to revise the price. When I hadn't heard back in about ten days I called them and they said the lamp was finished!. When I showed up to pick up the lamp they said the glass was $40 for each flat panel, or $160 more. Considering how much more this was than the original estimate, I felt I'd been taken advantage of. They said "Oh but it's a very valuable lamp." Well it is now!

The service was excellent and the price was good. They did a good job.

Very nice and professional staff. They quoted $15.00 to change the lamp cord and told me if I wanted to wait it would take about 15 minutes. Although the store was busy at the time, less than 10 minutes later the lamp was returned to me. They even replaced the bulb socket at no charge so I could be assured there would not be any future problems. Although it wasn't necessary, the man insisted on carrying the lamp out to the car for me. Nice touch! Excellent service in retail is not dead after all.

The service person was knowledgable and helpful. The repair was completed. I was helped out with my lamp to the car. A nice touch as the lamp is rather heavy.

I brought in two old lampshades for cleanup and repair or possible replacement. Victor suggested I consider replacing with a style that's fresh, new, easier to clean, and compliments the lamp. He tried to save me money by finding something in the store that would work. I found something I really liked but the size was wrong. He made me new lampshades in the style I liked, in the correct size. He answered all of my questions and concerns throughout the process. He was knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. They had a great selection of lighting, as well!

Bring your lamp and the shade for the best service

They were excellent and they helped with the selections. We went with one of their recommendations and we were very pleased.

This was the only company I found in the San Fernando Valley doing lamp shade repair/recovering.
