DO NOT USE GREEN PROS! THEY ARE SCAM! I have a very LONG review but I’m limited to only 3950 characters so contact me if you need more details. Our complete backyard renovation project consisted of demo/hauling our existing concrete driveway, placing new pavers, refinishing part of our wall with stucco, replacing our back retaining wall which was failing/sagging downhill, adding landscaping, and finally building a wood deck to tie it all together ($50K+ project). One of the main projects they had was to build a deck. When they were “done” we were definitely NOT satisfied with the result as the railing was flimsy, there were glue marks and wood stain stains on our house and our new pavers, and grass was already growing up through the planks! The worst part is the railing broke within weeks and Shai came back to fix it and then it broke again shortly after. We are lucky no one fell or got hurt. Here are just a few things found to be done completely wrong after having a 3rd party inspection performed. 1. The railing must be at least 42” tall to comply with Code and is currently only 34” tall. 2. The spacing between the small vertical rail posts is not consistent and is over 4” wide in most areas (not to code) 3. The stairs are only 9 ½” wide in some areas instead of 12” as per Code 4. The deck is too low to the grade. When using Red Mangeras Wood, it should have a minimum of 18” clearance under the deck surface, and is currently only 7”- 9” 5. And the list goes on and on….. So thus began our struggle to fix this issue. Green Pros sent Moti Rozenbaum and Ben to check out the damage and after he saw the workmanship he reassured us that they would fix everything as this is not how the company does things and he agreed the workmanship left little to be desired. As soon as we think we are making progress, Moti gets let go from the company. We then start to deal with Roy, who we were told is the owner of Green Pros. He sent his specialist to review the deck and they agreed it should be completely redone. However his specialist didn’t have availability for at least 3 months and we couldn’t live with a broken rail and deck that had screws coming out and wood planks lifting up and loose for 3 months due to obvious safety reasons. Roy then advised us to get some quotes and he would reimburse us for cost to have the deck redone. We were very happy that Roy had agreed to reimburse us for the deck as we just wanted to be finished working with such a poor managed company who cuts corners every chance possible. It took us about 2 weeks to gather all the quotes and find a reliable person to fix their mess and when I reach out to Roy he told me he’s no longer with the company and I should contact the owner, Ofir Haimof. I couldn’t reach Ofir but when I called the main office line to try and speak to someone who still works there they advised me that Roy was still there and he was the owner! Lies after lies after lies! As you can imagine we were now left feeling very taken advantage off and SCAMED. After consulting with an Attorney we sent them an official letter asking them to refund us for the deck. Unfortunately the refund of the deck wouldn’t even begin to cover all the damaged caused due to stress, time lost and wages lost due to all the time of work we had to take while they were here. Of course no one ever replied to our letter and we still can’t reach anyone. We are left with no choice but to file legal suit against Green Pros. Luckily for us the evidence is on our side so I’m sure we will be recovering our funds but HIRE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
