Amit was extremely responsive and communicative. His initial estimate was slightly higher than a previous estimate I received, so he matched it. We decided to go with Express Roofing because Amit gave us a lot of information during the estimate, including brochures. He explained our choices and the prices, and gave us time to decide what we wanted. Also, we liked that they are certified with the City of Los Angeles. Amit communicated well at every stage, never pressured us to make a more expensive choice, and let us pay in a couple of installments. And he gave us detailed written receipts for everything. The crew showed up on time, were friendly, and completed the work in just a couple of days. We were especially impressed with how they expedited the work due to rain. The demolition crew was only available on a Wednesday, but the roofing crew wasn't available until Friday. That was OK with us. But when it was clear it was going to rain on Thursday, Amit moved a crew from another job (which was far enough along that the rain wouldn't hurt their home) to our house, to make sure our roof was in good shape to withstand the rain. The project continued without a hitch. We are very happy with the results, and with the professionalism of Amit and the whole crew. We feel like we got a lot of quality for a fair price, and the job was done remarkably quickly.

I can't speaking highly enough for Amit Sinay, the owner of Express Roofing. He came to the house because I needed a tile replaced that was missing. I wanted it to be installed properly so that it wouldn't leak in the future. While he was on the roof, he also re-sealed all of the roof pipes and even put a cap that was missing on one of them. He took pictures before and after so that I could see the work that was done. And all for a very fair price. I was recommended to Express Roofing from a friend and now I see why he was so highly recommended. Any time I need roof work done, Amit is my guy. Additional thought...this was a very small job for him, but you would never know it. He replaces entire roofs so to get this kind of customer service says a lot about his character. You can tell he cares about customer service and taking care of his clients.

I still had a leak after but I need to get a new roof. 20+ years old.

Deal did not include 2-story house, but owner came out and inspected anyway. Gave me estimate for issue and refunded my $ for deal.

The owner came to my house, he was on prompt and very courteous. He did what he said he would do and more. He was quick andefficient, He showed me what he did, provided many pictures of the work and gave me an estimate as stated. He explained what he was going to do and provided the results, which were great! I would use him again and recommend him to anyone.

Job completed on time and work appears to be done well.

My son took charge of seeing that the contactor did the installation. The roof covered over 8,000 square feet and as expected there were several situations that were not evident until the old roof was removed. My son worked out all the new issues with the owner Amit Sinay to our satisfaction. We had some additional cost but these were completed to our satisfaction. The crew was very professional, completed the work on time, and left the property very clean. Amit Sinay was always available to deal with any problems. Overall I would give Express Roofing an A+.

The first thing that I liked was the consultation process. There was no time limit and he was here for severl hours and never tried to hurry me. Second, that he did not push one product over another, but just presented each and told me what was good about each one. He did not try to sell the most expensive. Originally he said it would take 3 days, but we had to start a day later. He then brought a bigger crew and got it done 2 days which I really liked. And what I also liked was the clean up. When they left it was like they had never been here. They even stayed into the dark until it was all done.

Express roofing did a fantastic job.

I contacted Express Roofing for an estimate to do a partial re-roofing. Amit came out promptly. Was courteous, professional and told me verbally what it would cost approximately. I asked for an estimate and he told me if it was a detailed estimate, he would charge $250 to be applied against the work if he got the job. I asked him to send me a regular written estimate. A week went by and I did not hear from him. I called his office and he called me back and told me he had been ill and reiterated about the charge. As this is an insurance situation, I told him to just send me a regular estimate and if they wanted anything more, they could pay for it. He said he would do so. Another week went by and I did not receive anything from him. Yesterday, 5/21/13, I called his office twice and he has not returned my call. This morning I called once and then spoke with Angie's List. I called Express Roofing back and left a message for Amit that I was going to do a review but would really prefer to hear from him instead. He did call me back and told me he was very busy, was doing me a favor and didn't want to work for me. I told him fine and hung up. I really am saddened by this as I felt he was honest and knowledgeable.

We needed our roof replaced and called several companies to get bids. My husband found Express Roofing in one of our local magazines, so that we could get one final quote. Amit Sinay was professional, courteous and offered a variety of suggestions based on our preferences price range (low to high). We visited a few of the homes that they had worked and they were beautiful. The team showed up on time and they finished the entire roof in 3 days, just as promised. We're so pleased with the work provided by Express Roofing, including the little "extras" that they added. Our new roof is beautiful!!!
