Description of Work: I had to have a lock changed and this gentleman was just that:: A Gentleman! Not only was he good, but he was a pleasant as could be and took care of my dilemma without even blinking. I had forgotten to tell him that there was a screen door also that had a lock on it and no problem!!! He took care of it without hesitating. I would certainly use him again and recommend him to others looking for a good locksmith. I have had problems with other locksmiths in the past and it is a big security thing, so working with Dr. Locksmith was so comforting/

Description of Work: Supposed to be $20 to rekey a lock. He got here and said its a specialty lock, have to replace the whole thing for $75 )on top if the $20 already paid). Sigh. But he was nice and did a good job.

Description of Work: Service man said he couldn't fix the lock. He taped knob so I could open door by turning one way. I'm not sure why I was charged more, I thought the amount was what I payed for the coupon. I understand paying more for supplies, but not blue tape.

Dear [member name removed]! I apologize if you are not satisfied with my service. You paid $24 for one rekey and that's what I did for you and I charge you the $30 for trying to repair the lock, if you want I can give you refund for that. Just to remind you, your lock is from the 1920 I think, I was trying to repair it for you so you don't have to pay too much money. I couldn't save your lock, I gave you few options to replace the lock and you didn't like the locks I have in stock. You said that you might change the door in the future so for now you'll keep the lock until you decide what to. I taped the lock for you so you won't lock yourself out in the mean time until you desire what to do with the locks. I sent you email with few option to replace your locks in the future when you ready to do it. If there is anything I can do to help you again let me know. Best Regards Doctor Locksmith 888-644-9383
