Their price for the re-tile and re-plaster was very close to two other estimates we received. But the details of their proposed work exceeded that of the others; so value-wise they were a better choice. But be mindful: They only re-plaster by chipping away old plaster down to the shell. You canâ t do that more than twice during a poolâ s lifetime without risk of damaging the shell. Most other re-plaster contractors use water or sandblast to partially remove old plaster. You get fewer new plaster layers that way.
