We were about to go out of town and didn't want to come home to a wet basement, so called with an urgent request for gutter cleaning. Despite saying that they no longer do gutter cleaning, a guy was promptly sent over within a day to come clean ours out for us! He took photos of some other issues he found while on the roof and we will be following up to have them help out with that as well. Nice, caring, and quick service - as good as it gets!

A1 American Roofing recently completed a bathroom remodel for us. From our first meeting, he was knowledgeable, friendly, and was quick to respond to any questions which made the entire process very easy. His attention to detail is excellent and he was extremely considerate to keep a functioning bathroom for us as long as possible during the remodel. In addition, his cleanliness was incredible as he cleaned up every day and kept the dust at a minimum. Within the last couple of months, we had a few leaks in the same area. I contacted A1 American Roofing one day and estimator came the next day. He came exactly when he said he would. He checked our roof and found a small hole. He fixed it and wasn't even going to charge us... what a great and honest guy!! Please call A1 American Roofing if you need your roofing done. I would highly recommend them!

After getting several estimates, I chose A1 American Roofing because of their willingness to work with insurance to see I got the best roof I needed with as little as possible from my pocket. The crew showed up on time and worked diligently all day into the twining light to finish. I could not be happier. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys.

The tech came out and reviewed the state of our roof. Immediately noted that someone had not previously repaired the roof to code. Immediately set out to correct all issues. Where necessary, tiles were screwed in instead of nailed and flashing around vents properly installed. All work was completed quickly with outstanding results. I highly recommend A1 American Roofing for an honest assessment and quick repairs.

Excellent service from start to finish. Estimate was done within couple days that clearly outlined what repairs were needed. My questions on type of coating used (for flat roof) were answered with follow up email showing the product details. Premium coating was used. Job started on time by knowledgeable, professional workers who did excellent work. After completion I was given several pictures of job. I have already recommended them to a co-worker.

They gave me a competitive (two 3 other bids) estimate and were experienced enough to point out issues. They started almost immediately after the contract was signed. Work was professional and proceeded as expected.

Overall experience very positive. The city put up a fuss based on their aerial photo which was faulty. Max cut right through their delusions and pulled the permit, no problem. The roofing crew were punctual and personable, working around the other remodel guys smoothly. Mister Mario did a great job installing the new roof with nice neat flashing which is very presentable. Recommended!

Summary: honest, responsive, respectful and fairly priced. Would definitely hire again. Shingles started coming up on the back side of our roof from the strong wind, rolling en masse like a carpet up towards the roof ridge and pulling the attic vent from its footing along with them. This is our first house and we weren't sure what to do. I was worried if the ridge gave in, the damage would continue to the front-facing side of the roof. Called a few places to take a look and give an estimate the same day. Of those that came, Max seemed the most trustworthy (my dog didn't even bark at him). He very clearly explained the cause of the damage and what would be needed to fix it, gave a fair price and was not condescending. As a woman dealing with home repairs, I often feel that the men who come by feel the need to dumb things down, but Max was patient with my questions and very respectful, never condescending. The repair needed (removing old shingles and relining, sealing, setting down new ones) was neither the most difficult nor the most lucrative as far as roof repairs go, but I feel like Max treated me with the same excellent service he would provide to any higher end client. Max and his guy were on time the next day and were able to replace the damaged half of the roof in one day (small house). They came the next morning to finish cleaning up the debris, true to their word.

I had leak in my house so i called few company and a1 American builders could come fast and do the job the same week , honset price and professional crew definitely will recommend them

We build a new house in Sherman oaks,’ And we used the services of A1 American builders as a referral from our friend who gave us good recommendations about the company , the owner and the price . I usually don’t Wright reviews but this guy definitely deserves it !!! Super professional!!! Lots of patient , and great service - he took the time to explain the work that been done. And the price is Un comparable- very good price . Thank you max for making the best for us . You are the best !!!!
