So-Cal Plumbing & Rooter

I don't normally write reviews, but I want to tell how Jose and So-Cal Plumbing and Rooter went out of the way and beyond the call of duty to fix my outdoor plumbing problem. Large puddles of water were forming in front of our house, which turned out to be a water main leak. Jose came to give me an estimate in the morning, arrived that afternoon with his crew, and finished the job by dinner time. But it turned out I had more than a water main leak. After the crew left there was still a large puddle in the front yard the next day that wouldn't drain. I later learned that high water pressure was also causing a leak in the sprinkler system. I called Jose again. I figured another puddle in the front yard meant maybe they had missed something and needed to complete the job they had started. Jose came back and told me this job was not a plumbing problem but a landscape problem, which they don't normally do. He offered to return later in the day to replace the sprinkler pipes no charge, but replacing the pressure regulator to solve the long-term problem would cost another $600 and that was low-balling it. I couldn't afford the additional cost so I asked to just have the sprinkler pipes repaired. Well, Jose called me back an hour later and told me he wanted to do this job right and solve the bigger problem. He decided to replace the pressure regulator for no additional charge. Then he came and did just what he said. His extra care and conscientious effort really made my day. Just to know that it was important to Jose to not only finish the job but go beyond the call of duty tells me how much pride he has in what he does. I highly recommend these guys.

It went great! They were quick and professional! Fair pricing and the job was completed with no problem!

kitchen drain clogged (Condo)

This company is EXCELLENT! We had hired another plumber to come out a couple of days before, but he couldn't unclog our sewer pipe because of the dense tree roots. We used Angieslist the following Monday and So-Cal Plumbing came out within 30 minutes and was easily able to get rid of the roots with their hydro-jet machine--something the other company didn't have. We had 3 estimates that same day to repair the cracked clay sewer pipe. Alex from So-Cal Plumbing was the best in terms of service/warranty and also wasn't pushy and he didn't try to overcharge us by doing unnecessary work. We had another company say we would have to rip the whole street up and gave us an estimate for $23k, saying there was no way they could put in a new liner but would have to install a new pipe. Alex assured us that he could put in a new liner without ripping up the street and save us some money. They were able to easily line the pipe and went above and beyond by also cleaning up the site and putting some brick back in place that had to be removed. I found Alex and Jose to be professional and very honest. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Jose and a helper came, gave us an estimate and were ready to install the toilet. They cleaned up the site. We are very happy with the job they did.
