+ -1 moreMike came out twice(!) for consultation and was extremely thoughtful and unhurried. Crew prepped the pool down to the bond-beam on the first day then was very accommodating to schedule the plaster when the temperature cooled a bit. Ended up a hot day when we plastered anyway, but they did a marvelous job and I seemed to be the only one bothered by the heat. The guys were very polite, and I was very particular ****** about getting it "perfect". They tolerated my hovering and the job came out beautifully. I'm sure it would have been perfect without my pointing and endless questions. Mike advised on how to "start-up" the pool on my own to be able save some money. I'd advise you let them do the start up, but I was very diligent about the brushing of the plaster 3x/day and important chemical balance. Very pleased... my highest recommendations and compliments. Thanks Mike!

Description of Work: Resurfaced my pool, not perfect but they were on time, finished quickly abd did a vlean job for the price. My only issue is that they sold me a floating alarm that would not work for my pool and wouldnt taka it back. Do I guess it goes to Ebay instead. Oh and jy steps gurned out concaved so dirt n debris settles on every atep. But overall I am happy with the job. Thx

Description of Work: Removed my old plaster, split the drains in the pool and spa, re-tiled the pool and spa, and re-plastered with traditional white plaster. Very nice professional job. I did my own startup of the new plaster and the finished pool is exquisite. I did some areas of rework myself, and they were very accommodating to my involvement. Started the project as stated, and finished within the stated time period.

+ 0 moreWe can't say enough about our experience with Premier Pool Plastering. We had quotes from 4 different companies and decided on Premier and are very happy we did. They weren't the cheapest, but were very professional and helpful in guiding us on what to do. From start to finish they were ontime, professional, clean and in the end our pool looks great. We decided on a couple changes during the process and they were handled easily, just like everything else. After they stripped off the old plaster we decided we wanted a bench in our deep end so our kids could sit and talk with friends. They also added "target tiles" to our stairs and the new bench, they matched our original tile perfectly. Our pool was last plastered in the early 80's so it was in horrible condition and in need of a redo, our only regret is we didn't do this years ago. Thank you Daniel and the entire team that worked on our project, great job!!

+ 0 moreThe first day fellow came and set things up to drain the pool, then after that a crew came and removed old plaster down to the gunite, then subsequent days we had repair of gunite. plumbers come to fit new pipes for double drain and skimmer and vac line and then we had electricians come to do wiring and put in a light and then a large team come to plaster. After that the pool was refilled. I want to say that every team that came was highly skilled and neat in their end of day cleanup. The plastering team was cheerful and entertaining to watch. Enrique who was assigned the start up was a really impressive, pleasant and knowledge young man, I wanted to hire him to be my pool guy because he was better than any one we've ever had here but his job is just the start ups. I was super pleased with this company and the job they did.
Description of Work: Gutted 50 year old pool, repaired cracks in gunite, put in new plumbing, new light, new electrical, new plaster, and made 5 sevice calls to start up pool.

+ 0 moreCompleted the job in 3 days. Took 1/2 day to remove and haul away old plaster and tile. Took a full day to lay new ceramic tile and trim tiles, new fittings, and deck-o-seal, and another day to replaster. Started filling the pool on the 4th day. Did start-up of pool chemicals. Our pool is beautifully restored. They were very careful to not leave a mess in our landscaped garden. We are very happy. We highly recommend Premier Pool Plastering.
Description of Work: Complete renovation of 23-year old 10,000 gallon pool and spa. Removed old plaster and tile and hauled debris away. Replastered pool. Installed new tile and mosaic tile rose, new spa rail and two new lights.

+ 0 moreThis was the biggest and most expensive house project I have had since I bought my house and so I spent a good deal of time researching and meeting with companies before I made my decision to go with Premiere. I have (or had) an old pool that was built in the 50s which needed a major overhaul. They were patient with me when I changed my mind multiple times about the tile I wanted. They were communicative, efficient, clean, timely and extremely professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone that needed work done and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. I highly recommend them!
Description of Work: .Premiere pretty much stripped it down to the foundation. They redid everything from the plaster, to the coping, to the tile, to the filter, to the concrete deck around the pool. They installed a new filter, new plumbing and new electrical. They came to me with suggestions that would help with maintenance like installing an automatic fill line connected to my house water supply so I didn't have to fill it myself during hot months when the pool lost water.

+ 0 morePremier was great! The quality of the plastering and initial stripping of plaster to the Gunite was very good and thorough. They worked with us well as we used family labor to retile the edge and insert custom tile (turtles and glow in the dark tile-I highly recommend upgrading to better tile and investing in custom touches in the tile, especially if you find it yourself for much less-Costco has glow in the dark tile, and Frank Little Tile has high end tile for very reasonable consumer direct prices). Premier was responsive and respectful, rapid and thorough. Their price was the best juxtaposition of lowest cost for highest quality work. We did four estimates. We got their name from a neighbor who was very pleased with the job they did on her pool. Premier is family owned so the attention to detail is very good. Use them!

I especially appreciated the quick response from the office staff with whom I mainly communicated with by e-mail. Christine and Marisol answered numerous e-mails in a timely manner providing me with information and links where I could find further details. On site my husband and I dealt with Danny who was present as each crew began their portion of the job. Again, very professional and helpful. He answered all of our technical questions regarding the work that would be done that day and the time frame it would be completed in. Additionally, Danny assisted us in choosing the tile for our pool, bringing samples to our home and arranging for us to visit the showroom. We were more than pleased with the work crews that did each step of the job. They were efficient, professional and cleanly. The only issue we had was with the start-up person and the company resolved the issue quickly and to our satisfaction. I would definitely use this company again and I would recommend them to anyone needing pool service. I truly felt that they were knowledgable regarding the latest aspects of their field. We love the new look of our pool with the new plaster. The new tile is great and the tile trim is a classy and elegant addition.
Description of Work: We had our pool drained, old fiberglass and plaster removed and replastering done in plain white. While doing this, we also took the opportunity to replace the border tile, add trim tile and replace lighting and drain cover.

Description of Work: I normally don't write reviews but this company did such an exemplary job that they deserve to be promoted. We received 6 bids on our pool that needed to be remodeled after our home purchase. Majority of the bids were in the $20K+ range, way above our budget because this is an oversize pool (25x45) from 1948. The bids were not only high but there were a lot of extra charges itemized depending on what could be discovered during the process (understandable), which will almost double the cost. Extra cost to re-plumb, electrical, colored plaster and extra light to mention a few. The other guys included the cost of the tile instillation but we have to buy the tiles ourselves. Again more money. Then we met Daniel Preciado. He was referred by my sister-in-law's client who is a landscape designer. I checked him out, A+ rating BBB and all their license and worker's comp were up to date at the city website. He did not have any reviews yet in this site and could not find any reviews anywhere else. Daniel was a very easy guy to talk to. He gave us the most reasonable bid of $13,500 which included everything -- fixing the cracks which requires rebar, plumbing, new skimmer, 2 new lights, dual drain, tiles (within a certain price of course) with instillation, automatic waterflow, color plater (love the french grey by the way) and so much more. He also helped us come up with a solution about the coping. Unfortunately, it was discovered when the plaster was removed, there were certain areas of the pool shell, specially in the deep part, which only had 2 inches of concrete instead of the average 6 inches. This was an additional $2K to shoot concrete which was paid directly to the subcontractor. The additional $600 was for the 2, must have, color changing LED lights that Daniel got us at cost. He also got us the extra accent tiles at cost which would have amounted to 30% to 40% more if I were to buy them. During the concrete phase, he also made us 2 corner benches at no extra charge. We can't say enough about his and Marisol's (his sister who is at their office) professionalism. Everything on the contract was done and more. He returned calls and text even at 9 PM. Daniel and his crew were there when he said he will be there. The concrete truck was late though but that was OK. We did not it disturbing our neighbors at 8 AM, Saturday. The work was done ahead of schedule. He wasn't pushy, gave his opinion when we asked for it but still allowed us make our own decision.
